Ok so I heard to get into Ursan DOA groups you need max LB and Norn titles so....I grind away because I have yet to complete DOA with my Para.
I'm maxed and show up at DOA spamming LFG and to my dismay everyone is asking if I have "sets". So I'm asking these uber elite legendary people what "sets" are and they are too cool to give an answer.
My best guess is "sets" of consumables, can anyone that's not TOO cool answer this question so that I may someday be good enough to do DOA with these people.

So far i've seen you are Correct, Consumable Sets.
Remember these important lessons:
1, Always carry a fully loaded gun, minimally a 9mm Glock, to silence Elitists.
2, When in a party, act like your the biggest Pro in the world, when going, act like a complete noob and put all the blame on others.
3, While Fighting, switch around different armor sets and minipets just to show how uberl337 you are, and how leet your fast-armor-swapping skills are, Also claim that you gain armor-swap points for a Legendary Armorer Title.
4, When in doubt, say LOL.
These important, mildly sarcastic and very handy tips will make you the Successful DoA farmer you want to be.

I too am far to 1337 to answer you're question so I LOL in your un-1337 face while showing off my vast collection of minipets!
aka I don't know. Maybe different sets of armour?
Sounds to me like another excuse to blame others for failing...
"zomg you didn't have the right set on you noob!"
translates to:
"I was playing with my minis too much and didn't realise I'd just agroed half the map so I'm going to blame your lack of armour instead of myself"
Hmmmm.....I might use that one in the future!

Lol I hate the ppl in DoA. If it would be dark there you would see floating chaos gloves everywhere. And if you ask "What kind of builds do you run here?" you only get a flame back. I guess they're just scared the price of gems goes down drasticly.
