Hello,
Can anybody explain why my browser (internet explorer) tells me this site is unsafe and might contain malware? Has anyone else had this before? I like gameamp but I also like my computer, so....for various reasons I now use the computer at work to get here :-) but I would like some more about this warning.

Ah yes I see your problem. To solve it.. download Firefox =P Nah jk, it says that this is a bad site because of the google adds on the side. There's also a topic where someone encounterd a trojan on this site, wich was also coming from an add. If you have a good anti-virus and firewall there's nothing to be afraid of though.
But still.. download firefox!.

A lot of people in IE have that problem, even if you Google GameAmp it has a warning saying "This site may not be safe" even if it's using Google ads.
Best solution is to download Firefox, it's a far better internet browser than IE.

i use Mozilla Firefox and it works great, just use Firefox ^^

Wasn't that also the reason GameAmp isn't recognised by Anet as an Elite(tist) fansite? Unless i got the wrong idea here.

Anyways......The problem you are experiencing is an Exploit in IE. Just make sure your browsers and virus protectors are up-to-date. Another fix is to use the browsers Opera and FireFox. Both are great browsers in popup, adware, and spyware prevention. :)
As for the Elite Fan Site status. The ads on this site is provided by Google Ads. They allow this site to be free to us the members. We have no control over what they choose to show on the site. So there are Gold Selling ads on this site, and that is a large reason why we can't be Elite Status.

Edit: There's actually quite a few more than this...but block away and you might get them all!!
This should get quite a few Google adds but if you don't view them I'm not sure if GA still gets the advertiing monies from Google.

I think the ads are one reason and the second one is that GW@Amp isn't a stand alone site, it's part of a network. And A-Net doesn't like that.

That can be all of it, cause GWOnline is part of a network with a sub-domian address.
