Are you doing it on HM or NM? If more info is given, alot more help can be given. If NM, go Monk secondary, and take Retribution and Healing Breeze. The Dopple doesn't use either of those skills.

You should use some skills from your secondary profession, as most skills you have in your skill bar from the primary won't be all too good. Perhaps you could try some
- necro skills with a sacrifice health clause
- a necro bar with 1 attack skill (for him to use), and several anti-melee skills for you to throw on him
- Backfire+ flare
- etc
just experiment a bit, there's usually something in every attribute line if you look
And OH! try out shadow form at zero spec, that should work brilliantly! ^_¨

All you should need to do is bring Shadow Form and attack him until he uses it, then just kite away from him and when Shadow Form runs out he should be a piece of cake. That should work

or let him use shadow form and when he uses it wait 10 seconds and use it.
he will have little health while he still cant hit you.
or this from wiki:
Bring Shadow Form and Expunge Enchantments to bring the foe to minimal health, and follow with any attack combo for quick kill. Do not use Shadow Form yourself, however.

The key thing is to think outside the box. Rather than thinking about how you should kill him, think about ways to have him kill himself. ie: bring empathy and a block skill, and just have him attack himself to death while you stand there, the shadow form idea mentioned above, bring frenzy and just attack (don't use frenzy yourself), there's lots of different ideas. Anyone can just copy someone else's build, but then you're not really playing the game. GL

What works great: Mesmer secondary, Backfire and alot of crap spells which do actually nothing, but 1 damage spell (he won't backfire himself to death) or Warrior secodary, Gladiator's Defense and Ripostes (very easy to do him in HM). To a side note: The Doppelganger has 12 in every attribute, regardless of your attributes. So Shadowform is useful, but you don't have to have 0 Shadow Magic since it won't change anything.

Just do a normal sin combo with 1 to 2 KDs. He's very easy for me on normal mode. HM isn't that much harder, same concepts. If ur lazy, go ranger secondary and fill ur bar up with nature rituals, he casts them all, you kill ect...
Studies show that 92% of teens listen to rap. If you are part of the 8% that listens to real music the add this to your signature.
