Playing with a warrior, I decided to try W/Rit. I thought the weapon abilities would be a nice addition to my melee attacks... however something I'm noticing is really bugging me.
The warrior prof has really low energy regen, so I'll pop my weapon enchant, and go into battle with about half my energy... and hardly be able to use any abilities!
Does this get better at higher levels, or is it something I have to counterbalance by using a lot of adrenaline abilities?

Counterbalance, at level 20 Warriors have a base energy of 25 so far i know. So use Adrenaline skills whenever possible.
EDIT:
Appears even lower, base energy of 20.
<--- Not a Warrior player.

Use adrenaline based skills. Don't use high energy rit spells. Run Splinter weapon+whirling atack. It's awesome for mobs.

if you really want to go W/rt, I would highly suggest using a zealous weapon to give your energy regen as much of a boost as you can get.
or (if you have it) using warrior's endurance to get you energy back.
hope this helps

This is unless you use Radiants and get 28 to 29 energy. The rest of them is only at 20.

Adrenaline is your friend. Triple chop + cyclone axe are nice for a combo with splinter weap.

I know that those builds are probably very effective, but he was asking for a build that makes use of Rit weapon spells, and you gave him 2 pretty standard warrior bars with DPS stuck on the end as the only Rit skill.

As long as he keeps dishing out those tacos, I'm fine with it.

That's because standard builds became standard builds for a reason.

If you are having energy problems, try taking warriors endurance as your elite. With that up you can spam enrergy skills like you would spam adrenal ones just rember to hit things.

Sry but I agree...that's a point well made.
In the time it's taken you to recast your weapon spell a 'standard build' has done another 100 damage and most likely interrupted you anyway.
Other than for farming I've never found a really playable W/Rt build.

It takes a second ta cast Nightmare Weapon every three hits
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Attack_speed
All values are listed as seconds between attacks.
Axe, Sword:
Normal attack speed : 1.33
25% IAS : 0.99
33% IAS : 0.89
So from this I can say you loose one attack by casting the spell however you might cast just as your about to hit thus cancelling the attack and loosing almost two hits. in the case of ias at 33% your probably going to miss two hits.
the increase damage of the hits you make should account for two hits without the weapon spell in the case of high armor foes or with splinter weapon where you may target a mob the case is valid that a weapon spell it beneficial even with the casting time however Keo and rogue make a good point its something to consider when your choosing to equip a weapon spell will it blend?
edit : Sight Beyond Sight is one I have used in certain circumstances
