Yay woo! nobodys interested ..xD
I don't think anyone remembers me as i've had so many characters past 2½ year. All deleted for different reasons, but i have tasted it almost all in gw. As in played in top 50 GvG matches. HA, TA etc.. with not so much luck, but i've at least tried them. Always hoped to win HoH at least once, but never got to do that though i'm not so interested about it anymore anyways. :P Have had FoW and all campaigns completed also many Legendary Survivors and some cool weapons. But enough "bragging". >_>
As coming back to GW after sort of a long break i feel like a lil' noob. :\
So anyway after about 6 month of break i finally decided to get back to GW. Though the most annoying part is my comp kinda sucks specially with my new 22" widecreen. >_> I was supposto start playing when i get a new comp, but my parents stated i'm old enough to get the money to a new comp on my self, so the comp has to wait for me to get money from a summer job, doh.
Anyways i do have that old screen, but feels a bit frustrating to change it back to old screen to get comp run GW better after you have "tasted" a better screen. :P
Also the download sucks now as i'm atm downloading GW again.. it only comes at the rate around 300-400 kb/sec. -.-
Also i'm probably looking to join gameamp guild if that's possible. :P
I remember having a warrior at around 1.1mill xp survivor when i left, but im thinking of deleting it and making a new mesmer as my main since i want the name.. >_> I always loved mesmers and had them, but i'm the sort of guy who wants his RPG character and profession to be most same looking/feeling so i chosed the warrior, now that i'm over it mesmer is the thing. :D
Hope i'm not making this post for nothing and as soon as i'm back to GW just alt + f4:ing away from it. :p
I think that's about it.. :P

Just to post how no-life i was. :P
I know there is some who have over 10k hours, but this is still quite alot as the most of the time is from the first 1½ years.

What exactly is wrong with the new screen?
and WB ^,^
I am kinda making a come back myself. 4-5 mo ago came back after a long break. Then burned myself out try to get missions done on main and trying to get into EotN. Took 2 mo to get over that burn out >.<;
Still got lots to do but going to try and pace myself a bit. :P
(key word is "try" LOL)

Well the bigger the screen is then mostly the resolution is as well.. so the comp can't handle such high resolutions that well what it did with the "back in the day" model of smaller flatscreen. :p
It's good for watching movies from it though. :)

Dude that's like an average of 5 hours a day o_O + you where away for some time you said so I presume the average you time per day when you where active was more o_o how did you manage that xD

I see, so comp. just can't handle the graphics load.
Well depending on how old the PC is, prolly just going to want to deal with the old moniter for now.
You could try updating DirectX and Drivers for chipset and graphics card and see if that helps any.
Also you may wanna see if running the game at lower settings helps performance. Turn off things like reflection, shadows, and post-process effects could help a lot.
If all your textures are set at the highest then concider taking them down a notch.

Welcome Back!
A higher resolution creates more pixels on the screen, more pixels = more power needed to process it all for your Videocard.
Why dont you try turning it down a bit? Usually LCD's aren't that hard to do, often automaticly sizing out the screen a bit on lower resolutions, otherwise there's probably a manual way to ''pull'' the screen wide again.
The only problem on a low resolution you will encounter is rough edges, because pixels are cubes you will notice edges will look less smooth, basicly Anti-Aliasing is made for that, Anti-Aliasing simply ''blurs'' edges, so the ruggedness dissapears.
Still, AA is harder on most videocards then a higher resolution frankly :P

I believe the max is about 1000kb/s here as upload and download. :D

no i wasnt. ive been a member of GW.GA.forums for a longtime.
So the admins gave me another chance. I was banned from the
Guild/Alliance though, but i hope they give me another chance
because [HUGS] and the [AMP] alliance was the best guild/alliance
i was ever in.
yeah i have changed. Grown up. So expect me to do way better :D
