Hey, today i just convinced my friend alex to buy coh/cov... which he did, but then when he played the game, i realized that he had received a special prestige power "jet pack" along with some other customizing options, such as new clothing items and stuff.... and i think this is unfair that someone who has had the game longer can't get these things, so i was wondering ifi could upgrade my existing account by buying the same version, and then get those things?.... or is it just tough luck for me??

Yep, you are in luck. Your friend had bought the Good vs Evil edition. Any existing players can purchase the GvE goodies too via the ncsoft online store. CLICK HERE.

That has always been a subject of controversy. Offering newer editions with extra goodies while the players that had been around forever got nothing. This is one of the reasons they came up with the Vet rewards.

That jump pack really comes in handy from time to time.
I'm too lazy to keep up with my own altoholism. Abana is my "main" right now as I'm going for my first level 50, but as for my creations here's a short list:
Abana (hero, Champion), lvl 46 mag tanker, stone/stone/fit
Etain Echraide (hero, Virtue), lvl 21 mag controller, plant/therm
One Man Vs. The Mob (hero, Virtue), lvl 11 sci blaster, nrg/nrg/fly/stealth
Ballplayer Reverend (hero, Champion), lvl 19 nat tanker, will/mace/speed
