Amp Core

Is there anyway i can get it back, or am i basically screwed because my other account got banned? I used it alot back when i first got it.

Also, did it ever leave the Beta Stage or what?

Was really useful, Im just even more curious to see if it ever took off past Beta or not.I think when i had it, i completely stopped using Firefox xD

It is still in the 3rd Beta stage still. There have been some complications with a Final release, but that is all I will say. Hopefully the Final Release will be here soon. :)

Thanks Kanna. Ive been hearing alot about this. Always wanted to test it out. Hopefully if i like it, the final release will be here soon and ill be used to it :D Thanks again! +cred

Ah, thanks for the info Kanna. Cant wait for it to go public :P Its real, REALLY nice. Comes in handy when you dont feel like Alt + Tabbing

Ah, thanks for the info Kanna. Cant wait for it to go public :P Its real, REALLY nice. Comes in handy when you dont feel like Alt + Tabbing

So far dose it only go with WOW? all i saw when installing was WOW. Also can this be accessed out side of your game trying but, can't get it too.

It works in any game, I've gotten it to work in GW, Halo, and Lego Star Wars.

Hmmm, it didn't work with the CoX games, DDO Everquest II, Vanguard or Anarchy Online. Though some of those I haven't tested in recent months. But neither was the client updated in those months. So may I take "all games" with a grain of salt?

ok now i have 2 problems.

first: when i installed it, and signed on, when i click on guild wars, it said " d3dx9_29.dll was not found " and it would keep giving me the error.

second: i downloaded " d3dx9_29.dll " and put it in my guild wars folder and when i sign on with GameAmpCore and click on guild wars, it gives me, " error : on making browser and error : running application " sooo, i tried everything, now i dont know what to do. "/

Which OS are you running? I've personally not tested it on Vista, if that is what you are running.

Going from the site, it's supposed to work with (nearly) all games eventually, but for the time being specific exe files had to be reported. The thread where people could report .exe filenames to be unlocked was too close to the loss of momentum in development for it to be actually true at this point.

Works with GW and WOW, and apparently SW Lego. Outside of those I think it's pretty much dumb luck if it works with a game. But I'll go see if it really works or not with CoX as last time I tested it with the EU version and am now on the US one. Different exe files.

Just downloading a random d3dx_29.dll is an interesting move, but:

- Is it the correct version? (not listed in the error, I know)
- Is it the dll for your architecture? (XP Home / Pro / Vista's may have different ones)
- is it in the correct path? I would have put it in the installation dir of the Core app, not Guildwars's.

I just tested CORE on Windows Vista Premium. I didn't get it to work with GW. Don't have any other game installed on the Vista machine, So don't really know if it truely works with Vista or not yet.

I think you'd need to run it in emulated DX9 mode or something.
CORE isn't DX10 compatible I'll wager.

ahh, those are intresting questions. ill test it out and ill find out what the problem is and ill get back to ya. but if i still can't find the problem, expect me to be back here :P

Here's something else I'm vaguely recalling.
There was at one time an issue with .net framework updates.
If you didn't install latest 2.x version at the time, but instead had been upgrading instead since 1.1 or so, you'd miss certain dx9 related dll's. The case was something with Vanguard: SoH and about a year ago, so it may not apply to you, but it is around the time of the latest CORE update.

It might be worth to download the latest version of .NET framework as a standalone install.
Then uninstall framework.
Reboot (don't skip this!)
Install full version
Reboot (I'm serious about these)
Try again.

I am having the same problem. I download the latest version of .NET Framework and now its giving me this message.
