I know there's some people who claim they can see dreams that come true at least partly. See their close one die and few days/weeks/months he/she might die for example.
I also know most people are sceptic about these things, but here's my story.. :P
I tend to see dreams now and then. Some see those all the time, some pretty much never. I believe that has something to do with the interaction in your life and imagination or something like that.
I noticed few years back that i saw weird dreams such as a weird/unknown boy or girl walking right by me or crossing next to me in a subway metro, bus, car, even elevator. So when i sometimes happen to tell my friends about these things laughing they sometimes recognise these "victims of my dreams" as their new boyfriends, girlfriends or even new friends they have just met a few days before. It's pretty weird sometimes to know exactly how she/he looks like even you have never met the person.
Last night i saw this weird dream of meeting old friends and such, but then something happened. Everything became darker, weird things started happening like weird lights from the nearby forest, birds just dropping suddenly dead from the sky. Then i saw an old friend lying near my feets without moving and had blood coming out of his nose. I was getting scared more and more those coming noices from the woods and decided to head to place where there's more people. After a few blocks i felt sorry for the friend and became back for him, but the "body" was gone. That's where i saw more birds dropping from the sky and the dream ended.
Now i really hate my self if this is one of those dreams which will come true, but if i'd just go to him after a few years we really haven't even spoken, he's going to think im crazy for sure. Kinda tricky.. :P
Well, tell us if you or anyone close to you have experienced something like this. Some tend to see these offen and some only when someone really close to them is dying etc. (i really hope im not marked crazy after this post, lol)

well i have a lot of deja-vu feelings.
i had a dream (or daydream :P) 2 years before i joined this school i'm on now. And when i met new friends there, it seemed the same from my dream. The same place we sat, the faces etc.
But i guess it's just my imagination.
i also have dreams that come back, like the same dream only in the summer every year. The dream i can remember best goes something like this; I'm walking home from school, and a man is following me, i just don't mention him. After a few meters i watch behind me and he pulls a gun, and runs after me. I run to my mum's house, open the backdoor, and all of a sudden i'm in my dad's house where the weird man is drinking coffee with my mum and dad.
I then run through the living room, he shoots right when i open a door and close it just before the bullets hit. I run upstairs, jump in my bed, close my eyes and then (ironic enough) i wake up. :D
and no, you're not crazy, i'm a little paranoid so don't worry ^^
;EDIT; this isn't like on of that dreams u described, but just some sort of ^^
BTW. do you see a white square with a yellow circle in my signature? :D

I had a dream once too, but it was my cat that died. ---> I was playing at the park (my cat followed me there) and I cant remember why, btu there were tonnes of cars there, after they all drove away in a hurry, my cat was squished by the cars. Wierd thing, a week later my cat did get run over by a car...

i had this dream the other night, where i was being chased by a 3 legged cat. and it was one of its back legs that was missing. and it was trying to bite me and chase me. it was like a really fast zombie cat (ya know, with the limp walk etc).
anyways, it wouldnt stop chasing me no matter how fast i ran or how far away i got, as soon as i turned around it was there still running at me.
then i remembered (while in the dream state), that for some reason i was supposed to have looked after this cat in some way, and that i had neglected it. hence it ended up losing a leg for some wierd reason, and now it was trying to get its revenge on me.
i woke up after that. but yeah, was a bit wierd. because i have a cat myself, but it wasnt my cat in the dream, was just some random cat.

I always figured everyone had some kind of sense like this when I was younger, but they just rejected it and thus lost it as they got older.
Well as for a solution for the original poster... that's really not so easy. I'd say you should get in touch with that person, even if only just to say hello. You don't need to tell him that you've been having foreboding prophecies about him or anything, just let him know you care. Eh, well that's my two cents, take it or leave it. These kinds of things can be kinda scary, and sometimes there's nothing you can do. I figure it doesn't hurt to just say hi when you can.

My wife saw her father die in a dream, the very same way he died, the very night he died. They were in differant states at the time as well. Her mother woke her up all in tears and she knew immediately that the dream she had was true, before they even told her.
I have had dreams that came to be real events only months or years later. When the event actually happened I could not recall the exact details sometimes but as they played out I recalled them. I.e. as a kid of about 10 I had a dream once of me and a bunch of kids I knew playing a game of 7-up. I had dreamed a middle portion of one of the rounds but I could not recall the sequence of cards played in advance but as they were played I knew they were the same from the dream. Seating and conversation was the exact same as well.
Even more weird than that, in High school English class one year the teacher asked us for an example sentence that fit our current lesson. One popped up in my mind then the kid next to me gave that exact sentence minus a singe use of the word "the" (putting the "the" in there was the better grammar).
I also "pick up" on my wifes thoughts all the time. Drives her crazy LOL.
Just wish I could "tap" into this and control it Mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Only dream that ever came true for me was the one about running through the school's hallways in the buff.
Good times, good times.
