Daw Weapons

Well with the introduction of new weapons to GW come the fun part of trying to figure out where they drop. I figure we could run a thread and you can post where you have seen the new weapons drop, or gottonone yourself. Seems they are spread out across all the chapters so good luck to all and share the locatoins with the community.

I will try to monitor this thread and keep the location on the OP. Also as noted below most likely will drop from Zaishen Chest

So far these are one I have heard of

Demonic Aegis
DoA

Serpentine Reaver
Vabbian zones

Obsidian Edge
Chest of Woe (FoW completion)

Frog Scepter
Bogroot growths end chest

Emerald Blade
Catacombs of Kathandrax (end chest)

Celestial Compass
Dalada Uplands

i dunno, have you seen for yourself these items drop?

it says on the guildwars site in the DAW thread to 'travel north' so my guess is somewhere on EOTN.

but then they wont be available to everyone whuch is unfair so i got no clue :P

They drop from al over Tyria(Elona, Cantha, Tyria). also a Celestial Compas. And an Emerald Blade

dunno which one this is but i think its the winner of the comp

edit : this was a design for Andre Roux from the usa grats on the comp and if your reading this that's a groovy sword, I like this.

Tbh i don't like the looks of the new weapons..

Only the Celestical Compass looks nice :-)

Shame so far no new Spear Skins...

And i also hope Tormented will go cheaper..So i can finally afford an Motivation Tormented Shield =/

Btw,,Everyone keep posting here about news of the new DaW weapons..

Where did it drop, Post a picture if you got 1 and that kind of stuff..

this is perfect, ive been looking for a sweet offhand for my mesmers illusion set while avoiding a second tormented set(dom set is tormented) looks like a celestial compass and...hmmmm platinum wand maybe, unless some other amazingly sweet wand comes about...time to stock up on lockpicks and do some chestrunning

because its new and it doesnt look that terrible at all, there isnt alot of room for creativity with focus items to an extend and the compass is something alot of people werent expecting

also wiki sais its only healing and illusion but ive also seen curses, which leads me to believe it may be of each attribute or one attribute of each casting profession

So now that everyone has had the chance to farm these, find these how did you all do.

I got 2 obsidian Edges from Chest of Woe in 4 runs (r9 and R11) made 300e on them.

Tired for the frog scepter but was not successful in 2 runs

Havent seen any of the other yet.

Anyone else get lucky?

Anyone hear where the emerald blades drop?

I will update the OP with any new info

TBH: Any of the new items in Cantha? ("Spread over all continents") Seriously, WAY to many in EotN.

I want more in Tyria alone since tyria is by far the best chapter.

I wouldn't invest any serious cash in these anytime soon as the prices are going to drop faster then panties in a strip joint.

I sold that R11 on Saturday for 100K + 100e you can get an R9 now for about 100K + 140e.

I don't think a-net intended for these to be like the gloom shields and Guardian of the Hunts were when they first came out.

Please check your website for viruses!!!

This is my 4th day logging in to amp and every post or screenshot that I look at I get a warning about a virus detected. Luckily I have good protection so it hasn't affected me other than me having to click where I want the virus to go.

I hate bringing something like this up in a topic because I don't want to taint anyones feelings of gameamp. However it is getting really annoying. I hope new ampers that read this don't get discouraged because amp is a great website, it's just that there is a lot of corrupt evil people out there that want to ruin something good :)
