i have a level 29 blaster, energy/energy. while i was teaming with another archery/energy and he said he couldn't wait to get power boost. then he could do Aim+BU+power Boost + rain of arrow, for an awesome nova. my question is does power boost really increase damage by that noticeable amount.
deion from paragonwikia and in game are the same.
Greatly boosts the secondary effects of your powers. Your powers effects like Heals, Defense Buffs, Endurance Drains, Disorients, Holds, Immobilizes, Knockbacks and more, are all improved. The effects of Power Boost lasts a short while, and only the next couple of attacks will be boosted.
but it does not mention damage so i was wondering if anyone could confirm this for me.
p.s. if anyone could help me figure out how to post a mids build, i would really appreciate it cause i would like to post my build and get some feed back.
edit: spelling errors

Power Boost won't boost damage by itself. It *may*, however, boost the buffs you get from BU and Aim, so if you PB before BU/Aim, you may get more damage that way. I haven't personally tested it myself, but I have a Fire/EM blaster I could copy to test and use a vet spec to check it out. I'll let you guys know as I know, which may take some time.

I just tested this and found that Power Boost will basically double your tohit buffs from BU/Aim, but it will *not* increase the damage buff from those powers.
For my blaster, PB boosted the movement speed bonuses from Swift/Hurdle. It did *not* affect the regen or recovery from Stamina or Hibernate. It did *not* affect the defense I get from my toggles. It *did* double the amount of mezz protection I have from those toggles, namely the immob protection from CJ, Hold protection from Acro, and KB protection from Acro, for the duration of the Power Boost, which is approximately 20s, though it may have been 30s, I'm not sure. Mid's will know, you can look it up there.
I did not test its ability to increase magnitudes of the various buffs/debuffs and mezzes I can deal out to others, as I did not have a partner to test this with. I do know for a fact that it will more than double the Heal from Aid Self, as well as give double the Stun protection that Aid Self gives. This could be handy, especially for PvP purposes.
I found that Power Boost, with 3 recharge SOs in it, was up quite often, so that I could use it on Build Up and Aim, alternating the cycles. I highly suggest taking it if you plan on PvPing, or just want some more power for your Secondary effects, such as mezz protection, speed, or tohit buffs.

Yes and no.
Yes, it's a secondary effect. No, Power Boost will not effect it.
