| Equip and Upgrade question... |

Just hit 32 the other night and got Tactical Upgrade. Im pretty sure I already know the answer to this, just want to make sure. Do you still need to Equip and then Upgrade? As I see it, they are 2 dfferent powers and do different things for our minions. If, not cool, will save time and end.

Yes you have to do both, and I am not sure with all masterminds, but with thugs, you have to equip, then wait a brief second before you upgrade. If you don't sometimes the appearance is that they didn't get the upgrade. Not sure if it is just a graphic deal or if they really didn't get the upgrade.

Thanks Static,
Kinda figgered that. Summoned some new merc's and hit them with the Tactical Upgrade and none of them had helmets. For Merc's Equip adds helmets(doorag for Commando) and Upgrade adds weapon belts and clips.

Wow S T A T I C!! How did you become that knowlegable of that!!! But Mr. S T A T I C, as long as you give your thugs both but don't show it they will still have it. Haha....Mr. S T A T I C!! Maybe next time!!:D

Welcome to GameAmp, Victoria!
Somehow I have the feeling you know where STATIC got his wisdom from :)
It is great both of you have arrived to make this place even more wicked.
(And if you click on the small arrow-ish thingy on the right side of your pet window you can see which buffs and upgrades are placed upon them. It is the easiest way to make sure are minions are fully loaded.)

Thanks for the welcome. Have been visiting this site for long time, and finally realized that: hey all these great people are providing excellent knowledge of the game, and that we should contribute rather than ("lurk in the shadows"). Got to admit, much better posting rather than lurking. Anyways, thx for the welcome.

From playing on a Thug MM SG team, I'll say that yes, it appears to be a game glitch that doesn't allow the upgrade to take - although this is ONLY graphical - the thug stats DO accept the change.
And it doesn't matter what order you apply the upgrades in, the end effect is still the same - coz I tried it last night!
Wondered why last night I couldnt get a pet to accept an upgrade and was getting frustrated - turned out to be one of Phase's thugs I'd clicked on by mistake! Now I make sure I use the pet drop box to click to enhance.

this doesn't happen with zombies, you can click them off one after the other.

We know you just like Phase more than the rest of us. Kissin his butt wont make your loot any better. If does let me know.
