What kind of characters did you make?

I will begin.
I have a level 36 Thugs/Traps Mastermind named Van Diego. After much discussion with my wife and friends we decided to make a Villain Group of nothing but Thug Masterminds. So in order to carry out this concept we all dressed our toons accordingly. I think the idea was born on a night we were talking about how fun it would be to run a team of one Archetypes. When we started discussing Masterminds we were laughing about how laggy it would be or how insane it would be to see 50-60 Thugs running through a mission taking out the mobs of 7-8. After the laughing died down the question was asked when do we start. Well it wasn't long after that we were all running through Mercy with a team of all Thug Masterminds. I can't believe how much fun and how many laughs we have share playing these toons. Now our Villain Group has great group of players in it with some familiar names from around the COH/COV sites. I will not list them out, but they can tell on themselves if they want to.
In closing... I have a another Thugs Mastermind to level 10 and my friends are all right there with me...

Okay, guess I'll post for my MM.
My mastermind, a 35 Bots/FF, was almost never meant to be. What had had happened was I was debating between a zomebie/dark or a bot/FF. I was leaning towards my zombie/dark, but then eventually I made my bot/FF instead. His original concept was a General of a man made robot army. He was a failed Cyborg and manufactured thousands of Robots, launching a full scale assult on the world. I was inspired to make it from when I got CoV, I really loved the concept for MMs, so I made one, and that is what he turned out to be. I really really enjoy him, seeing as now I can solo on Relentless. Eventually I need a break, but after Villain epic AT's were anounced I am basicly playing him when I get on CoV.
Thats my toon, hope to see more.

I wanted to make a brute in the purest sense of the word: a big unstoppable hulking machine of destruction and raw power that would inspire fear at the mere sight of it and proclaim it's nature through it's name as well as it's looks.
And I wanted it both original and tied up to the CoV universe as much as possible, not just make up a not so jolly green giant with red pants instead of purple...
After a few tries, I came up with this:
Archetype : brute : a half-man half-shark sharing the cruelty/predatorial and greed/appetite of both.
Origin: Mutation: originally created by Mako using the same process that brought about the arachnoids for Lord Recluse
Powers: Super strenght / Invulnerability: unquestionably the essence of brutishness. Mako will be his patron at level 40, giving him back some of his sharkhish heritage.
Appearance: Water dripping huge male frame at it's sleekiest and tallest, with huge jaws (elongated metal alien skull), fins on both arms, his scale-covered body (dark grey fishnet over shimy light grey tight) wrapped in what is left of the rusted chains that were holding him before his escape from the Zig.
Special powers; sands of Mu (weapons are for puny humans) the black wand (wich in his hand looks like a burned, twisted version of Neptune's trident)
Pet: Rikti monkey (besides him, it looks like an even more bestial, deformed version of himself rather than an alien)
name: Sharkhaa
battle cry: FOOOOOOOOD!

I'll also discuss my MM.
At the time I write this, Kuramaru is level 45. He summons Ninjas and uses poison to weaken his enemies. His minion's names are Who?, What?, Why?, When?, Where? and How?. That should be his 3 Genin, 2 Jounin and Oni in order. No real concept as to when I made him, other than was 2 sets I hadn't used before and intrigued me. His name is a slightly spelling of a Wolf pet from Naruto Kuromaru.
With each level I loved him even more, not only because he grew in strength, but any power I took was a new experience for me to use. His main costume now is a skewed version of Shikamaru's outfit, but has long orange/yellow hair, and the eye patch like the Wolf he's named after. One of my freinds says he reminds him of Snake Pliskin from Escape to NY.
I play him as I can, but love each challenge he faces, whether it be Rikti, Nemesis, Arachnos or Malta.

Yes, I am in an VG with all Thug MMs...It is a Blast
If so what inspired it?
Cant remember, maybe just the idea of massive mayhem with so many "minions" under our control

I love it, she is on her way to 50 with the rest of her crew

It was a Mastermind. A Ninja/DM to be precise.

Umm. Does the thought "Ninjas are awesome!" count as a concept?
If so what inspired it?
Ninjas being awesome and Dark Miasma sounding dark, exotic and awesome.
How do you like it so far?
Well the first time I made him was on my friend's account, but when I got my own account he was the first dude I made. He's level 50 right now and I absolutely loved every minute I played as him. I don't play him anymore considering I don't have an account, but if I did you can be sure that I still wouldn't be playing him.

A Brute. A DB/Will Brute.

Originally, no. I just wanted to test out the new powers. A Speed theme developed later on as I started to get a feel for DB.
If so what inspired it?
DB being so darned fast. When I ran the endgame numbers the results I got back were insane, especially when it came to DPS output, so I decided to run with that.
How do you like it so far?
I love it so far. He's level 35ish I think and he's definitely one of the major reasons I want to get my account re-activated again.
Yeah, that's all I gotz for now.

DB/Energy Aura brute, wanted to test out the DB

Not really, but was trying to create it for PVP. uhm yeah didn't work so great
If so what inspired it?
Just started getting bored with the game, so went for PVP
How do you like it so far?
LOVE IT, The Speed is great, and with Energy Transfer I can keep going and going. Only EB I had trouble with is Ballisto.
Only thing i don't like about DB, is that it's not meant for PVP

Consept is the base of all my toons, Dark or Light side.
1st toon on the darkside is - Moonburn - Dark/ice corruptor
The name came from friends joking about that I was so pale I'd get moonburn. I liked the name and that lead me into thoughts of a sort goth'ish toon.
Since I have a lot of male toons, I went with a female toon for a change. Most of the goth types I know are into magic/occult things so I had the background. Dark primary is a given, Ice was a reaction to the 35C temps here in Sydney on the day.
Background is she found a magic item in a shop window and grabbed it. So she ran for the Isles but plans to got back and sort out those who were responsable for arguing about it, shop owners, police and the like.
I went for a young face as the crime is a impulse one, typical of the a younger person. The look is black leather but not too much flesh on display with boots and gloves. A mask to hide her face from her foes and because it looked cool. Pale skin to fit with the joke that gave the name and I was done.
and that's how I do my toons :)

Well if i go with my main as Hellmeister
Background:
I'm rather into mythology and i like to study the beasts of lore, such as dragons and ogres ect
I got my concept from the ninja MM pet set (my first ever toon) from the oni. Oni's were demons of fire and wind supposedly, demons that took on human(ish) form and were brave strong warriors.
Now Oni are generally known as being sideless, so i thought id make a powerful, corrupt one, that leads on to Hell being fire/dark (to show corruption). Though i have changed his theme many times this was my inital thoughts.
Secondly, my Brute, SS/Stone was framed after another creature from mythology, a mountain ogre (though i give him human form, like hell) incidently enough both are from Japanese mythology. In future i tend to make some sort of gargoyle or something else that would be fabeled to have exsisted at some point
If i move onto why i made them like this, it interests me and all my cahracters are linked together by rp, which is why it takes me forever to make new toons and generally be altist.
This would explain why a few days ago i made a samurai hero, who is a special breed of samurai, a demon hunter, or Dharkarai (which is his name, and as far as im aware there was no such thing as a Dharakarai anywhere in mythology, though there is a demon known as the D'harka, yet i cannot recall where the demon hails from). With that in mind my samurai hero will have an eventual twist.
Those are the motives behind my three toons so far
