I am really sorry to wait this long in order to finally post about MesCon. But this semester has just been keeping me at school day and night with programming labs and projects.
Anywho, enough of the excuses! There's only -- eeep! -- two weeks 'till Saint Patrick's day! We're gonna hold it on the Saturday before St. Pat's so that we can assure the largest number of attendance on the weekend.
So this is my proposal!
When: Saturday, March 15th, 2008.
Time: GMT/UTC: 9pm, Eastern: 5pm, Pacific: 2pm, Brisbane: 7am (Sunday morning)
Where: Henge of Denravi, International District 1 (or more).
Why: Be a part of the single biggest annual mesmer event ever! Last year we had 3 or more districts!
I do recommend a green dress code! :D Doesn't have to be, but it is recommended!
Regarding donations: This year, I don't have a ton of time to be on collecting donations, but you can send me an e-mail and we can set up a time to meet if you would like to. I'm a bit low on donations right now, but I'd consider just about anything for donation - I never turn donations down. Beer and fireworks and other party favors would be most welcome!
(I'm also trying to boost my party animal title and collecting a large number of green beer and clovers! ^.^ Personal donations for this greedy need are welcome, but unless indicated, all donations are going towards the party and being given out.)
I'm hoping that I haven't forgotten anything. PLEASE get the word out as fast as you can to as many mesmers as you can on as many forums as you can. Considering I've posted late, we're gonna need all the help we can get in order to beat 3 districts!! Let's do it, folks!!
Also, non-mesmers are also invited. :] But it's primarily a mesmer event. But please, at least try to come in green.

What's the facination with mesmers...I don't see what people like in them. Why no EleCon or SinCon?

If mesmers are the best class, why don't teams of 8 mesmers dominate the high end GvG scene?

Cause you need to be good to play a mesmer.. hardly that many players that can really play the class well.

Gah! I won't be there i wont be home at 5 PM.... darnit!
And my mes is pvp only anyway lol.
But i can always go on a diff char and go there after i get home to see if anything still going on there.
EDIT: its also great to see how many people actully have mesmers and actually care to play mesmers makes me not feel like im the only other person besides Jarm that likes mesmers :)
Also good to see a never populated town put to use, lol.

I have to work all day tomorrow, but since it's Saturday, my boss lets us game in between calls.

I agree mesmers are the most powerful class i was impressed when i first started playing one, hence the word mesmer, obviously meaning mesmerize.lol.

I wonder if he realizes that the paraphrase he agrees with means he falls into the same category by categorizing all of Gameamp which he is a member of? For logic failed when categorizing gameamp as a whole. When its not true when some don't believe that. Plus don't say ok then just the PvE side because thats still not true. But now I wont argue if you say a lot or maybe even most but not as a whole meaning all.
Sorry Ensign knows a lot about GW but in those types of statements he shows his immaturity in not knowing much about people. IMO
On topic now, the event sounds like fun and neat to see all the different armors and armor combos. But alas I'm afraid I wont get to see it as I'll more than likely be still at the park with my boys.

Bit silly to say that really, mesmers are best with one or two in a team otherwise you lack DPS. You might be able to take most a mesmer party and own with illusion and some domination who knows!
Never the less mesmers are probably the best class in game because they own anything with the right build.
