What has happened to you? Noobs have flocked to this forum, and in response to that your "pvp crew" try to "teach" with zomg how to monk in RA! How to HB! Or just lame pvp builds that are fail. Is there any hope for you? I think not.

And how exactally am I a problem? If anything, I simply adressed a personal opinion of mine, which, I think is very true. I think it's very funny to see people posting those stupid guides, that try to "explain" pvp, when they really don't have very much experience. Just look at the topics people post here, they are beyond pathetic, I remember when people used to question why GA wasent an elite GW fansite like guru/wiki was, and now I know why.

Well, guru is in the top 100 of gw fan sites...so they must be doing something right. Oh, and, in refrence to your nothing by egomaniacs...think they know blahblah about pvp statement, they think they know things about pvp...because they actually do, just look at some of the people that post there, unlike GA where they "think" they know about pvp.

I s*ck at PvP (with this I mean TA, HA and most importantly GvG).
I know it, and that's why don't post. Or when I post I don't try to 'know-it-all'.
From my point of view some people on this forum however are allowed to cut the crap and to the point (aka an *ss).
Matter fact, it's their duty. Otherwise how would you be effective at PvP 'Oh well, we ALMOST won'.

Stop posting and GTFO of my Interwebz if you dont like it here. Go crawl back under the rock known as Guru. and the ONLY reason Amp isnt an Elite is because of Google Advertisements. Im a member there too and all i see is 'Lol you noob.' Posts there. At least Amp is Friendly. Its not my fault they 'think' They know what theyre doing. Most people have better things to do than sit at the Comp. 24/7 and PvP. One reason i dont PvP anymore is because of people like those on Guru. They arent helpful in the least bit. Id rather have a friendly helpful site than an Elite No Lifer Site where they know everything and shoot down your ideas if THEY dont like em.

Second, this isn't a community that has its goal to be on the top 100 fan sites and become an 'elite' fansite.
This is just GA, where people enjoy themselves in the same game, change information with each other. have FUN. Its not about being the best here. Its sad you don't see that. You got issues, and what is the point of saying we all suck in PvP and you know it better? submit better guides then. In the meantime, shut up or post usefull things.

This PvP discussion reminds me so bad of a guy in the alliance who left a few minutes ago, he was literally failing at the game.
First of all, what sane person that claims to ''Be an Alliance Battle Expert'' brings a warrior with Mending, secondly, what bonehead even bothers attempting to say ''im the leader, follow me'' in AB to atleast 8 other random people?
Seriously, i can make a list of why he failed cause he's just at the wrong side of GW's, his place is GvG, he fits the bill, dumb, egocentric enough to think he's a L337 leader, and he doesn't have a soul so he can game 24/7.
If the mainstay of that lifestyle kind of group is at Guru, then you can find me happily here, let the weak squabble under ourselves, and let us enjoy a more higher-standard of Fansite Forum.

hey to any GA mods it might be worth checking or locking this before it gets to rowdy. just scrolling made it look like it.
second i think the words noob kittens blah balh blah are being thrown around to much round here.
i think its about time we stop babling about how everythings gone wrong and having a kitten about and instead stop throwing oppinions round and instead channel all the kittens into rabbits and get this site back to the way it was when i joined. i remember it and i think you all do. your just so wrapped up in the now to think of getting the next to what was.
im gonna get back an old thread i made an dmaybe bump it a few times to get right what we enjoyed about guild wars and maybe make a new one about GA.
no more throwing in your opinions cuz you enjoy it. i reckon this rant and rave think isnt helping. when everytrhing was positive you could enjoy reading stuff you could find good stuff and i think its about time evryonw realised that.
so sit down read this and think people. just for a second think. say something good instad of haveing a kitten.
say soemth8ng awsome compliment peopple. rate thier posts make a awsome posts about randomm GW awsomness.
and most of all if all thats beyond you maybe you should consider giving GA a break for a while to all the kittens is gone and you have rabbits instead.

I'm sure you MN, like tons of other pvpers, think they are better than all others and no one else knows what they are talking about. People are all good in their own right and hold opinions like anyone else. What people post here, claiming work, has worked for them. Just because you think that its horrid, means very little.
I'd like that you try to not come onto GameAmp and start petty fights.

the problem with people like you has already been stated, but that wasnt actually my real point, just add ons.
The problem i have is that you make a topic to literally try to laugh and point. Because you think your better than everyone here. well the good news is, is that your not. i dont know who the hell you are, and frankly, i'm not going to take your words to heart. i have no respect for someone of your caliber.
you think that places like guru are elite because someone else probably told you that it was. i have read a lot on guru, and i have to say, it takes a lot of reading through posts by dicks like you to come across a good post. thats why i have never posted there. i dont have the time nor effort to argue.
You have people like rogue here and megido until he went a bit awall, who often had a heap of good advice, and have the decency to tell people what they are doing wrong in a manner that is easily understandable.
Then you have people like you who go round syaing 'noobs lolololol'.... which benefits who exactly. what was your aim? to make me go 'you know what, he's right, i am a noob, maybe i should step aside and just quit gw and let all these guys run things. they are obviously a lot better than me, i can tell by his post'. yet you have done nothing but make yourself look like a tard here...

True that people do have the right to run whatever they want and if running an e-denial mes through all of pve works for you then fine. However don't pull that crap when your on a team with other people and certainly don't write a guide on it. People like other players to be good so when you pug in pve or pvp you don't have an idiot running around on your team. Dumb guides make players who don't know better worse at the game, and therefor make people on their team have a less enjoyable experience.

My opinion, "nOOb" is a too frequently used term and is often mistaken with "newb" the fact that some people are trying there hand at PvP, and maybe failing classifies them as newb, people who purposely abuse the PvP system and in general degrade the competetive nature of PvP would be classified as nOObs. As for why you care what GA has to say then you have issues mate. I love my gameamp, and I love my friendlies here. Should you feel like degrading the site, by insulting my knowlegeable PvPers on GA then I must ask you to cease your ventures to this portion of the "Interwebz". How is it your place to say what is crap and what isn't? Sure your opinion, and there is nothing wrong with that. But still, if it works for someone, then why not share it? |
Its not opinion a lot of the time many builds are just plain less efficient than others although its sometimes harder to tell than others, but for example if they have a build that focuses on using mending on your whole party it may work for you because a lot of the game is pretty hard to fail on or in the case of RA your bound to win a few matches and get a few streaks no matter what. However a different build will almost always work better and make you better along with not pissing off your whole team.

Why do people make threads like these instead of actually contributing to the site? If you gonna sit around and not do crap to improve the pvp side of the site don't complain. If you don't like the amount of pvp related stuff on game amp either "
Add as much as you can and make the site better
or leave and let the "Pansy skilless pver's" to themselves.
Gameamp has NEVER EVER been predominantly pvp. So why complain now? It's not like you aren't allowed to talk about pvp.
It's like you people don't understand the concept of community. People need to add things for pvp if you want the pvp side of the site to exist. Magical pvp information is not just gonna pop up out of nowhere.
Oh and saying no one on game amp pvp's besides (insert name here) is utterly idiotic. Because like...20 people say this same statement every month...so that's 20 people right there who pvp.

Anyway, to say some builds are less efficient than others is not entirely true. Builds can only truly be judged on a player-by-player basis. The reason people post builds that may seem to be lacking in areas, is because it worked FOR THEM, and they have the courtesy to share it with others saying, "Hey! This is what I used and it works! Feel free to try it out!" And most people, without really bothering to try it out, will give it a glance, notice it's not the usual 'wiki' build, and bash it to kingdom come.

This is true. there are ltoso f builds people scorn for being useless that I use with great ease and are very effective. Then again there are builds that are supposedly "very efffective" that I find completely unusable.

I miss the good old days when people didn't whine, newbs didn't try to show off constantly, and we all got along caus of one common goal. This thread is getting retarded, and I think it proves that this indeed is a problem. The next time I see someone who signed up in 08 yell and whine telling people to get off their internet, will be when I start pushing for a re-vamp and 0 tolerance policy for round 2. It worked great when flaming, maybe we should clean out the trash a bit? ... And people wonder why I was away for such a long time.
Cant we all get along? cant we stop whining about worthless crap? cant we stop posting thoughtless threads? cant we start posting substance instead of air again? .... the creator of this thread definitely had a point, and I wont idly stand by watching people tell someone to leave if they dont like it here. Thats the best way to loose people who actually might have something credible to say.

But that's really neither here nor there I guess. Your right I think a zero tolerance policy might just be necessary right now. Instead of it being aimed at flaming this time though it needs to be aimed at drama ridden spam...
