So what's the benefit for this person?
I mean the only thing is he/she would get your phone number and then possibly make fake calls that would cost A LOT for him/her to make into an other country.
Unless he/she is willing to go so far that he suddenly asks some money for some weird reason like travelling to your country to talk more about this etc. :D

the benefit is after a few more back and forth emails, they will ask for your bank details, and with the already provided telephone, adress and full name, will quickly start to take your money.
they will ask for your bank details so they can deposit your 15%...
oddly enough, a few people have fallen for this, mosty people above the age of 40.

LOL my guess is that this person targeted someone on a gamer community because you know how kids play games... and how alot of those adults think about us "stupid kid gamers" and how trusting we are because were kids, HA! they think we could fall for anything. Well anyways that is kinda funny.

You should know, a few months ago the newspapers here posted an article of afrikan 'scammers' using the internet. they want to get money etc from people and betray em. The artical was about people that turned the hunter into the hunted, but in a LEGAL way, their goal was to get a picture of the scammer holding a cardboard saying some funny sentence, like 'I like strawberry pie' (just an example)
You should try to get such a pic, thats epic. I'll try to find that article thing again for you

Another truly fantastic post by our very own Stan McMoney!
Why didn't they at least send you a good pic?
With your address, name and a photo they can probly open a bank account in your name and then take out loans against it.
It's such a clever scheme, almost fool proof, elegantly set up and almost so perfect that most people wouldn't see straight through it.
