| So I Heard About This Glitch... |
|
|
|
I was considering making a Thugs or Ninjas and TA MM a while ago so I could set the Oil Slick on fire. However, a friend told me about some glitch (which controllers aparently have problems with too) that whenever the Oil Slick is caught on fire, all of your pets/henchman can't move or fight anymore and you have to resummon them. Now I would love to start me a MM but if this is true than it's safe to say I'm a tad hesitant...
Is this horrible glitch true?? Or was my friend just messin with me? (I'm known for being really gulliable. Oh, and I can't spell either >.<) Hopefully this isn't true...

i have not noticed it with our group....but that is odd that it would cause that...we are thugs and have a lower toonthat is arrows and he teams with us so.....my only suggestion would be test it and let us know but we have not seen it happen

This is the first time I have heard about this problem. So I did a bit of digging, and I only found a lot of people really loving the 'oil slick on fire' MM's. Especially this guide on the official boards is quite a nice read. I would go ahead with your MM. If there would have been any issue it would already have been all over the forums. And even if I somehow missed all these threads that complain about it, I am sure the devs will very quickly fix this, since it is a very important part of any TA MM. So start setting the world on fire, Doc!

I hope this isnt the case, or my Thugs/TA Mastermind is going into the garbage disposal...
I have noticed lately when I use Trip Mines my toon can not stand up or move until I set another Mine.... I wonder if they know anything about that...

Ah, that explains it then. You talked to those pathetic do-gooders. They probably tremble in fear that their spandex might get on fire. Us villains have no such issues. You and your thugs will be just ok.
