Ok, I'm pretty sure everyone is sick of hearing about the "system wars" but I'm just curious. What's everyone's favorite next-gen system? But here's the catch, I don't want to just know the system, I want to know why you think it's the best. And it has to be a good reason, not just "I like Wii cuz it's awesome".
So yeah, just curious and really bored. Hope i get good feedback because what I hear is going to help me choose what system I'm going to buy!
After PC, I prefer Wii because I like the Nintendo games, imo they are the best out there, Brawl for example. For the kind of games on PS3/Xbox360 you already got a PC, while the Nintendo games are pretty unique. They aren't afraid to try something new.
Well I personaly like the xbox controller so much. Don't know if they changed a lot to the PS3 controller, but the controller from PS2 is waay too small. I feel like I'm holding a baby toy =$ And your hands are in such an unnatural position I can't even game on a PS2 for an hour =P
EDIT: There are also 100x more games on the xbox than there are on the PS3 and let's face it.. xbox360 just looks uber cool ^^
EDIT2: (Yay another point) One word: Halo (@#$! I want to finish halo.. why didn't they bring it out on the normal xbox??)
Heard there are now triggers on the PS3 controller just as with the xbox?
So if I'm not going to comment on the wii..
Xbox controller > PS3 controller
Xbox games > PS3 games (you don't have a life if you've never played Halo)
PS3 console > xbox console (due to blueray)
Lol I wonder if this is an helpful comment at all, but what ever xD If I had the money I'd have bought an xbox360, but I'll have to do with the normal xbox for a while.
Just think what games you're thinking of playing first.
I have all 3 consoles and a high-end PC.
Thw Wii got boring after the novelty wore off and I got all the stars on Galaxy.
The PS3 I bought as a Blu-ray player and all the PS3 games out that I'd consider getting are already on the 360 or PC.
The 360 is still the best out of the 3 consoles, live really enhances the experience too.
personally have a wii, love it, waiting for Brawl to come out so i can hook it up and go online!, until then i have the virtual console to play and my metriod prime 3 : corruption and crash of the titans to play.
virtual console is cool, i have mario world (SNES) and mario 64.
love my wii, come on brawl!!(europe)

Thanks for all your opinions. I think I want to get a Wii because of Smash Bros. and other games, but I'm probably going to get a 360. Wii's just can not be found anywhere here, and I know a few of my friends would love to play multiplayer Halo with me, so that's probably what I'll get.

But if not Wii, I would say PC, but out of the consoles, 360 is on secound place, I really like Xbox Live, I dont have an 360, but I play with my friends and Xbox live is very nice.
I would definitely say 360. I have it and absolutely love it. Xbox live is amazing, definitely get an account for that. I played Halo: CE and Halo 2 on the regular xbox without live, and believe me, the live experience really improves the game. Also, Fable 2 is coming out later this year, and it's looking like it's going to blow all other RPGs out of the water.
I think Wii is just a party console. I have one and I never use it apart from when I have friends round.
As for PS3, it's waaay overpriced for what it is.
Xbox 360, what can I say, It's okay I guess I think that Live tips it over the others.

aarrrggg, this is really so oppinion orrientated.. but it really is what kind of person you are:
wii: Family orientated, it's great for 2> players, kinda sucks for 1 player(some games rock but i can't count more then 4)
xbox: great for shooters, has more games(but is a YEAR longer on the market then ps3)
ps3: great console, cool games, awsome for the rpg love, playstation is the rpg console
i personally own a ps3, because its my fav, because i don't like the fact that you have 90% chance that your xbox will die within 2 years, and the wii doesn't have really much cool games. the ps3 has kingdom hearts, FF and loads more of new rpg that will come out. and im really a kinda rpg addict

i have a 360 and a wii....
I think the 360 and ps3 are completley different to the wii so i wont compare them.
Personally i chose the 360 cos it was cheaper...more game selection and the online is much better.
IMO the ps3 is probably more reliable
no difference in graphics.
i prefer 360 exclusive game to ps3 such as GOW2
Online on 360 is sed to be better
Online on ps3 is free..
Pro's and cons for both
but btw halo 3 ftw...i dont think so..that game was waay overated.
