Hello everyone,
I just started playing Exteel recently and it seemed to work okay for a bit, but now whenever I play, I could be in the middle of a game or at the loading screen and all of a sudden the screen would cut to a black screen where I can hear a faint buzzing sound sometimes. I tried pressing escape or ctrl+alt+del, but nothing works. All I could do was manually restart my computer. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem, I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi, and welcome to Gameamp.
By the sound of it, your videocard is choking on the game.
How does your laptop perform with other games? Which do you play on it? Any other DirectX 9.0C games in there?
I miss one important detail (well two) in your specs.
- What videocard?
- Satellite A105 -xxxx where xxxx shows which variant you have. Going by Google, the variants mainly concern what kind of GPU (Graphics card) is used. It's important.
What I also want to know is if you laptop uses shared memory, i.e. can you set the size of the memory available to your videocard in the BIOS? If so, putting that to maximum might help.
Also, making sure you have the latest drivers for that mystery videocard might help.
If that doesn't work, you can always ask
here. PlayNC doesn't have a FAQ or Knowledgebase yet, but you can ask them questions and usually they give good support. They'll probably want to know about that videocard too though :-)

Thanks for all your help and concern for this topic! I'm quite impressed with the speediness of your response. Actually, I'm very new to online gaming; please pardon my noobiness. This is the very first DirectX game I have tried to play on my laptop and I was hoping that if I could get this game to work, I could play tons of other online games.

I will agree with Lani, most likely you are unable to play this game because of the fact of the Video Card. I was unable to play this game on my old computer (which had a Geforce 6600 GT card).
Best options I can give you. Update all your hardware (vid card, sound card, direct x, and anything else you can think of). Then if that doesnt work, get a new computer (dont we all wish it was that simple). I know laptops are very limited in their ability to play some games. I can say that my wife has a laptop and its a Toshiba Satellite and I could play WoW/CoH. But could only play them on super low settings.

I totally missed you'd replied to the thread. Sorry.
But I fear I have to disappoint you even further that Intel graphics chipset and 128M shared memory is not going to make eXteel go. :-S
