I just did Mayhem in the Market on my new Ranger. I was dreading it from the last time I did that quest because it was a pain. I did not get all those mobs of Afflicted and whatnot...did Anet change that quest?
I'm baffled at how fast I got that quest done...
Hopefully someone knows whats going on, cuz I don't

A while back when i finally decided to take my assassin through there this was like a half a year or a year ago i noticed it was a little easier too...

I just recently hero/henched this with my Rit. Seemed way easier than when I took my Necro through it.
I think they removed some groups of Afflicted or maky just moved their placement. I was able to pull one group at a time, where before it seemed like I would always get 2-3 groups ganging up on me.

They removed a couple of groups when they added the update for hm I think. I could be wrong though. But when I did the quest w/my rit 2 weeks ago I found it extremely easy 0.0

As far as i know; and i have been there recently; the amount of groups are the same; with the same foes.
What i will say now might seem obvious to some; to some it may not; but with Nightfall and Eye of the North; gameplay had been increased while tyria and factions stayed the same;so its not a matter of easier or different foes; its the fact that by now; most people are used to a harder gameaplay then back in 'the days'.
