THIS THREAD IS MADE OF WIN!
I'm placing this in R&R as an anti-rant, a thread to post all the wonderful things about this community without being flamed to hell for unpopular opinions, grammar, or being a noob. ur aluwwed to typ like thss nd nobdy wull csre!
This is my way of doing a small part to improve this community. I don't expect miracles, but i would appreciate admins removing any negative post on this thread. with that in mind, speak carefully- the carebears of gameamp are watching o.O
I'm looking for ways that this community has influenced you in a positive way, how something you read on here put a smile on your face, and players overcoming the PvP/PvE racism (yes, i consider them races and therefore it is racism). So feel free to post whatever

I wish to rant here this topic is made of Win, it lacks Unicorns though, that is a tad disheartening really.
OH by the way, my rant was very short, but really Strong.
One short rant says more then a 12 page story, or... something like that yeah.

The PvP vs PvE thing is only the way you see it.
Gameamp influenced me to get my start with guildwars. I got flamed for stupid stuff alot until I got better and actually started thinking about stuff before I said it or did it. Then I moved to midlevel GvG and repeated the same process until I could call tactics. I'm still learning how to be an amazing strat caller. Gameamp gave me the original push.

I wouldnt be half the player i am today without gameamp. and since i'm crap already, that makes me a fraction of ball sucking i cant define.
when i first started i had a build on my ele with 3 healing skills and a res for the first 6 months of me playing, heal area and double dragon ftw!
not only that, the game amp guild is awsome. i cant express the amount i learnt about the game from certain people, and i made in game friendships that are still strong now, even though i'm not part of the guild anymore.
i like gameamp a lot, and thats why i continue to use this site over others.

Don't say that so fast, unless your Signature is a big shoop-da-woop you got a bigger title then me, though i probably outrun you in the character variation list, but still, you got a more prestigious title then i got.
THOUGH I must declare i've done myself proud by actually getting Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer and Protector of Tyria last week, something i held for impossible.
OH and i used Texmod only later on, it appeared Maguuma Jungle & Kryta was done 99%, only one spot at The Falls in Maguuma was bad, was pretty happy with that xD

Well its the only forum for the most part I visit anymore. The people keep me coming back even though I may not personally know them. They have helped me and yet don't know it. ED (has helped me do even more with my Rit than before), Jam (actually got me to make a Mesmer, with all the mesmer talks here on the forum), Mimori (has some of the best mission guides I have seen anywhere), Trib (helped me decide on almost all my armors with such a wonderful armor section), Rogue (has helped with understanding on DPS), Meg (with improving what little PvP I get to do), and so many more. The people here at Gameamp is why no other Guildwars community can ever come close to being as good.

Well its had a positive effect on me (01:30) I learned more from the people who post here in little snippets and guides than I realise. to understand how other people see the skills gives them a new dimension. to over look the seeming instability gives a great cross section of the people who play .
Different people from all walks of life surreal at times and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

well, I started out as a lurker on gameamp a while back ... then I just started contributing, and now ... well ... I feel it has drastically impacted my gaming experience :) also, I think I have impacted other peoples gaming experience as a result of this community :) cheers!
its never to late to be impacted by the Tor! lol
