Skill Changes
Assassin
* Fox's Promise: functionality changed to: For 5..20 seconds, your dagger attacks cannot be blocked. This enchantment ends the next time you fail to hit.

Dervish
* Guiding Hands: decreased number of attack skills that cannot be blocked to 0..3.

Mesmer
* Enchanter's Conundrum: functionality changed to: For 10 seconds, target foe casts enchantments 100% slower. When this hex is applied, that foe takes 30..120 damage if not under the effects of an enchantment or hex spell.
* Hex Breaker: decreased duration to 5..80 seconds.
* Mantra of Concentration: decreased duration to 1..38 seconds; increased recharge to 30 seconds.

Necromancer
* Angorodon's Gaze: decreased Energy cost to 5; decreased Health stolen to 10..40; decreased Energy gained to 1..9.

Ranger
* Power Shot: decreased damage to 5..20.
* Precision Shot: decreased damage to 3..18.
* Sundering Attack/Penetrating Attack: decreased damage to 3..10; decreased armor penetration to 10%; increased recharge to 4 seconds.

Warrior
* Magehunter's Smash: increased adrenaline cost to 8 strikes; updated the animation to match Hammer Bash.
* Mokele Smash: decreased adrenaline gained to 2 strikes.

Automated Tournaments
* You now lose K value (25 for daily, 50 for monthly) rating if you sign up for a tournament and forfeit the first round.
* Tournament Reward points are now based off the number of teams who did not forfeit in the first round.
* Bonus tournament reward points are now awarded for playing in every round of a daily tournament: 5 for 1v1 daily tournaments, and 15 for GvG daily tournaments.

Bug Fixes
* Fixed a bug that caused the map marker on the reward NPC to not appear when the Clear the Chamber quest completed in the Underworld.

Miscellaneous
* Added new text to Kun Shao regarding the Xunlai Tournament House.

holy crap.

why'd they do this? these skills weren't over powered.

Man that Power shot ranger build is sick, too bad we cant use it anymore.


and wtf is with the MageHunter smash nerf. Who would use it over D hammer now?

hm, imo anet are basically nerfing alot of the metas before the rawr tournament, so that hopefully we will see some new builds and ideas in there, its a good idea imo, although maybe would be better to implement them closer to the time.

no ursan nerf though :(

*sigh* well, with penetrating attack nurfed like they did, I'm gonna have to see if i can replace it. Really sucks too, it was a good back up for when there was only an enemy or 2 left and I didn't feel like barraging it to death, lol

its easy to see if you pvp at all

A/D Critscythe fox promise unblockable kittens=dead
B-Spike=dead(for now)
Turret Ranger=Dead

time to see balanced taking its rightful place in gvg again, was getting sick of every other matching being b-spike vs a/d spike

To prevend it being abused on A/D's that cannot be blocked, hit for 200's + deep wound.

This is kinda proactive, so that the fox's promise A/D's wont just mutate into D/A's with aura of grenth.

Hex breaker and mantra of concentration made bsurge ele's impossible to shutdown, so warriors couldn't do anything, they could orb on recharge and never get interupted, spam bsurge all they wanted, and never get punished for it.

I hoped they had restored flame/storm djinn's haste back to 33% speed boost instead of 25%...

raptor farm became harder without that extra 8% :\

good.

machine gun rangers were annoying anyways, not hard to counter but deadly

angorodons doesn't really hurt bloodspike much, they should have decreased dmg alot more, aswell as strike... just more spammable now

magehunters still usable but kinda not worth it that much anymore imo

Every day is a winding road. Curses is apparently ballanced perfectly.
Enchantment removal to rival a mes?
As monks have hex removal that may or may not be ballanced with the effectiveness of those hexes + the difficulty of casting them in a fast paced environ such as pvp?
has an innovative build based around hexes got a chance of ever being accepted by the metta police?

a couple of months ago i never would have thought of seeing power shot nerfed in my life. Would be nice to see some buffs especially to some kind of non gimmicky nec/sin pvp builds but overall it was a good buff that didn't hurt many legitimate builds.

Why, why WHYYYYYYYYY did I make a PvE mesmer, get it 15k armor really nice weapons dye it pink, get it skills.....seriously why I should of seen this coming anet are complete !()"%&%!*($^"*($!$!"$!%(*!"%&! < no idea

Mesmers just aren't fun to play, I really can question if they are a class to counter classes now......

The ranger one THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally get rid of some unskilled tards using a simplistic build! I now play my ranger a lot more since mesmers are completely sh**. Just a question though, why hex breaker? All the others I can understand, even though I don't support them!

That change means better drops for the rest of us.

I sussed that within about 30 secs and when Stan came online he trumped my changes to what's now seen as a CC build and made the run easier than ever.

Think outside the cookie cutter people!

Ok that's it, I told them to leave rangers alone.
This nerfing is like..

F*CK!

In stead of nerfing skills over and over they should think of what might happen if you change it in the first place. Feast of fouls will prob be nerfed next time since they use it in almost every GvG build.
Oh yeah and while we're at it, let's increase RoF energy to 10 and recharge to 10 seconds..

If they got too much time on their hands, let them make an NPC that allows you to customize your character or something.




Oh and I used prepared + power + savage in PvE a lot too, but do they care? Nope.. they only look at PvP and what is used too much.
