Sets I'd Like to See

Well, if you've read some of the other forums i've started, you know that i like to come up with my own ideas for CoH powersets. i have some here that ive been thinking about that could be really cool.

first, i've tweaked my idea for a water blast set a bit, as follows:

1-splash - minor cold/smash damage, fast reset, chance of KD

1-water blast - moderate cold/smash damage, moderate reset, chance of KD

2-spray- small drops of water shred your enemies. moderate cold damage, slow reset, cone range

6-geyser(sp?)- a jet of water lifts your opponent into the air, then evaporates and he falls to the ground., moderate fire/smash damage (fire because its hot water), moderate reset

8-aim- you know.....

12-rainstorm- um, it rains for a bit? maybe has a knockdown effect like freezing rain. minor cold damage over time, long reset

18-feigned drowning - single target hold, you envelop their head in a ball of water, doing minor cold/smash DoT, slow recharge.

26-jetstream - a concentrated waterblast flows forward from your hands and hits the target for a good amount of damage. (snipe) superior cold/smash damage, slow reset, good chance of KD

32-FLOOD- extreme water attack, water gushes forward from each pore and drowns nearby victims, and the remaining victims have a good chance to be knocked down from the intense water pressure.

ok, post comments for that set please, i would LOVE to have this implemented.

next is an idea for a teleport attack set, for scrappers. It would be a series of hand-to-hand attacks, each with a different application of teleporting added to it, and because they are punches and stuff, its smashing damage.

1 - teleport punch - teleport to your target and punch them (15-ft range), minor damage, 4s recharge.

1 - teleport surprise - teleport behind your target and perform a hard punch (15-ft range), moderate damage, 8s recharge, chance to knock them down.

2 - teleport around melee range, attacking nearby foes. (i even thought of the visual effect that could work: you disappear in a tp sparkle, then the tp effect travels in a quick circle around where you were standing, so it looks like you tp'd around without having to pinpoint actual target positions.) moderate damage, 10s recharge.

6 - Build Up. you know...

8 - Teleport Grab - melee attack, you and your target teleport to your targetted location (target an enemy in melee range, then click a spot on the ground like normal tp), upon arrival, target takes damage and might be knocked down. moderate/high damage, 15s recharge.

12 - Challenge/Confront type power. Single target taunt.

18 - Baneful Teleport - Teleport to your target (40-ft range), and attack them brutally, also knocking them down. has a high critical rate. high damage, 10s recharge.

26 - Pull - Teleport target foe to a location near you (a la tp foe power from tp pool), upon arriving, target is disoriented for a short while and knocked down. No damage, 20s recharge.

32 - Teleport Frenzy - Teleport to target enemy (15-ft range) several times, attacking from different spots (again, you would disappear in a sparkle, then sparkles would appear around target, accompanied by the ticks of DoT). After the 5 or so attacks and damage ticks, you teleport to your original location and your target is knocked down. Extreme DoT, 20s recharge.

If they implemented this tp set, i would be so happy. i already like using teleport in combat, so a full set would be totally bitchin. on a slightly related note, i want them to make the teleport (pool travel power) animation only happen if you arent moving, and be able to move once teleported, like you are hovering, but if you move the hover breaks. i think that would make teleport way more useful and less annoying to use in indoor maps and escaping.

IF you had the patience to read that, please comment. I will post again when i finish coming up with a full defender set of Cosmic Prowess, which has a bit of everything, a heal, rez, toggle debuff, blind, pet, just need some more powers to put in it. Anyway. Ramble, ramble. Thanks for listening!!!

RE: Sets I\'d Like to See

Both sets don't really get me.
Watercontrol?
I can't recall any comiccharacter using waterblasts except Hydroman and that wasnt even quit his main power, cause he was more a tank/brute.
Sounds a bit mangaesque to me.
And offensive teleport?
Teleporting attacks you can pick even without having teleport as a travelpower?
No way, that's just st....
There have been discussions about extra powerpool assosiated with a chosen travelpower, maybe with additional attackpowers, but an offensive TP-set...no way.

What I want to see:
-Radiation Blaster
-Dark Controller
-Devices Controller
-Energy Scrapper
-a Devices Secondary for Scrappers
-a real superstrength for Tank; throwing stuff and hitting foes with lampposts

more options for Tanks ad all(SR or regen)
more none-weapon-primaries for Scrapper

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

I've always thought that shapeshifting powers were conspicuously absent.

Shapeshift Armor
1 - Density: Your body is naturally denser than a normal person's. You are slightly more resistant to smashing and lethal damage as well as knockback. This costs no endurance.

2 - Become Metal: You turn your body into metal and greatly increase your resistance to smashing and lethal damage. This is a toggle power and costs endurance over time.

4 - Close Wounds: You use your acute control over your body to heal yourself.

10 - Protective Coating: You sheath yourself in a protective coating and increase your resistance to fire, cold and toxic damage.

16 - Internal Oxygen: Your able to transform the gases inside you and give yourself a few breaths of pure oxygen. This allows you to recover some endurance and makes you resistant to sleep attacks for a short time.

20 - Intangibility: You become intangible, making attacks very unlikely to land. Your other powers are ineffective while using this power.

24 - Inorganic Brain: Your brain isn't made of the same substances as normal people, and thus you are highly resistant to psionic attack.

28 - Duplicate: You duplicate the appearance of your target. Foes will see you as a member of the faction you've duplicated, though they'll see through your disguise if you attack them or were already aware of your presence. Foes may attack you anyway if they're inclined to attack the faction you represent.

35 - Diamond: You become the hardest substance known to man, granting extreme resistance to attack.

Shapeshift Melee
1 - Hammer Fist: You make your fist into a blunt metal object, dealing increased smashing damage.

1 - Blade Hand: Your hand sprouts a blade, dealing lethal damage.

2 - Twist Attack: You contort your body and deal some smashing damage to every foe in melee range. This attack also has a chance of knocking down affected foes.

4 - Many Blades: A "cone melee" attack that deals lethal damage.

10 - Insert Confront/Taunt power here.

16 - Extended Reach: When activated you're able to use your melee attacks (except Twist Attack and Mega Mace) on foes much farther than normal melee range.

22 - Ensnare: A part of yourself whips out and entangles a foe, immobilizing him. This attack also constricts the caught foe, dealing slight smashing damage over time.

26 - Fiery Fists: You're able to turn your fists into fire, dealing fire damage. Attacked foes may catch fire, dealing damage over time.

32 - Mega Mace: You turn both arms into a huge spiked mace and deal massive smashing and lethal damage.

I'm an incurable altoholic, but most recently I've played as these characters:

Abana (hero, Champion), lvl 44 mag tanker, stone/stone/fit
Etain Echraide (hero, Virtue), lvl 21 mag controller, plant/therm
One Man Vs. The Mob (hero, Virtue), lvl 11 sci blaster, nrg/nrg/fly/stealth
Ballplayer Reverend (hero, Champion), lvl 19 nat tanker, will/mace/speed

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

Egyptian MM's, got that on a post on villain forum. Would be awesome. I'll list powers I had for it here:
QUOTE
Just an idea they could possibly add using Dual Blades.

1. Sand Blast
Sends a small sand blast at a target dealing little damage, but lowering accuracy.
Damage: Minor
Recharge: Fast

2. Summon Egyptian Guardian(s)
Summons 1-3 (Depends on level) basic egyptian with dual blades. The Egyptians are very fast but weak, but can be impowered with armors.

Attacks:
Nimble Slash
Power Slice

3. Greater Sand Blast
Fires a larger sand blast that does moderate damage, and lowers a targets accuracy.
Damage: Moderate
Recharge: Moderate

4. Osiris's Gift
Empowers your Egyptian army with power's of the dead and dark powers.

Egyptian Guardians: Dark Embrace
Ablating Strike
Egyptian Priest: Siphon Power
Set's Decendant: Shadow Maul
Dark Regeneration

5. Sand Pyramid
Launches a torrent of sand in a cone that blasts all enemies within an area. Does moderate damage, but has a long recharge.
Damage: Moderate
Recharge: Long

6. Summon Egyptian priest(s)
Summons (an) Egyptian Priest(s) to fight for you. They are very skilled in absorbing enemies strenths, and are able blast sand equal to the pharoh.
Attacks:
Transfusion
Lesser Sand Blast

7. Mummify
Enchants an Egyptian with the power to be resurected as a mummy. The Egyptian retains all his abilities but his cooldwons are longer, and they are slower, but thy recieve improved defense and using mummy powers are able to strike fear into enemies.
Recharge: Very Long

8. Summon Set's Decendant
Summons an Anubis sent directly from the God Set himself. He is very skilled in using dark arts, and can be further empowered to improve his skills.
Attacks:
Dark Embrace
Shadow Punch
Smite

9. Ra's Blessing
Blesses the greatest of Egyptian warriors with a gift directly from the Sun god Ra. This empowers all of your warriors with improved abilities and more attacks.

Egyptian Guardians:
Typhoon's Edge
Murky Cloud

Egyptian Priests:
Greater Sand Blast
Increase Density

Set's Decendant:
Midnight Grasp
Murky Cloud
Obsidian Shield

**Note: Sand Blasts will simply be a dark blast animation, except a little faster, and a goldish yellow color.**

Also, I second the shape shifting powerset, just it would take a LOT of work to make.

Also, vehicles for travel powers, like a motercycle, and a car.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

Just thought up this potential primary power set for tankers.

SUIT OF ARMOR
You wear the latest in protective garb, enabling you to go toe-to-toe with the superpowered or heavily armed villains of Paragon City.

1 - Armor Plating: Auto. Your suit provides excellent defense against smashing and lethal damage.

1 - Shock Absorption: Auto. Your suit cushions your body, granting greater resistance to smashing and lethal damage and some resistance to knockback and knockdown.

2 - Personal Forcefield: Toggle. You project a forcefield around yourself keeping foes at bay. You cannot attack while using this power. Attacks from higher level enemies have a chance of getting through.

6 - Onboard medic kit: Self. Use this to recover your health. Long recharge.

8 - Air conditioning: Toggle. While that suit may look hot, you actually have the latest in personal climate control to keep you cool and comfortable. A side benefit is that you have a greater resistance to fire and cold damage.

12 - Insulation: Auto. Your armor is well insulated from the elements, and increases your defense against energy and toxic attack.

18 - Battery Backup: Self. When you're low on endurance, use this to recharge. It takes a while for the spare battery to recharge itself after use.

26 - Reactive Armor: Toggle. Your armor features many tiny explosive charges. When activated they will react to incoming attacks by blowing the force of the attack back at the attacker. If the attacker is within melee range he and other nearby foes will likely take a little damage.

32 - Polarized Plating: Toggle. When activated your armor becomes extra hard, increasing your defense to many types of damage.

Strengths of the set: potentially extreme protection against smashing and lethal attacks; good protection against fire, cold, energy and toxic attacks; offers health and endurance recovery; reactive armor deals damage back at an attacker and could make for fun animation; less toggles than some armor sets.

Weaknesses of the set: offers no protection against negative energy or psionic assuault; knockback and knockdown protection isn't as strong as some other sets.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

I am such a melee guy but for some reason a power set that comes to mind is a blaster set. Now this is a very specialized set and look. But I think could be very cool and then finally give some good uses to the costume pieces.

Robotic Arm Assault. Now follow me for a second on this, I am thinking a full out robotic arms that hide an arsenal equal to the entire US Military Forces.

Cannons, missles, bullets, and non lethal devices for the offensive aspect (primary). I can imagine the last alpha power being either some nuclear bomb that you launch from the air or a total unleash of every single attack you have in one blast....missles, bombs, bullets, and everything but the kitchen sink launched.

As for the secondary, something on the lines of electric/energy melee with small additions like a force field/shield that can throw up front only protection. Maybe something to jam accuracy or smoke grendaes. Almost a device-esque set up.

Maybe if I get some free time I can come up with each power. That could be a power set I could get into.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

I have an armor set that I'd come up with awhile ago for brutes that would probably work even better for tanks. This one is inspired off of the sludge and muck monster type creatures in the comics which always seemed somewhat villainous to me but could still work for heroes like Swamp Thing or Man Thing.

-Slick Skin- This automatic power provides defense from lethal, smashing and toxic damage. This power is always on.

-Slime Shell- Toggle defense from lethal and smashing damage.

- Sludge – Toggle power that creates a thick sludge on the ground around you. All foes caught within this sludge are slowed or immobilized.

- Secure Footing- This automatic power gives protection from knockback, increases the rate of healing and gives a small increase in your maximum hit points.

- Murky Thoughts- Toggle protection from immobilization, hold, sleep and disorientation as well as some defense to psionic damage.

- Algae Shell- Toggle defense from energy and negative energy.

-Toxic Fumes- Click power that releases a toxic vapor which does moderate DOT to all foes within melee range. All effected foes will have their accuracy and defence reduced as well as have a good chance of becoming sick and vomiting.

- Revival- Self resurrection that revives you with half your health and endurance. Afterwards you become indestructible for 10 seconds and gain 100% debt protection for one minute.

- Muck Armor- Toggle power that increases your maximum hit points, increases your rate of regeneration and endurance recovery as well as provides some damage resistance to smashing, lethal, toxic, energy, and negative energy. Use of this power reduces your movement and recharge speed.

RE: Sets I\'d Like to See

I found this in the main forum's on the Lady-Jade's Power Suggestion Box and it was posted by Kristoph. Being somone who loves to play that tank I SO want this power set!

Power Set Name: Radiation Aura
Arch-Type Pool: Tanker Primary, possibly Brute, Scrapper Secondary

1) Alpha Armor - Generates a field of Alpha Particles on the surface of your skin, slowing down physical attacks (Toggle Self: +Resist to Smash, Lethal, Toxic, and Knockback)

2) Chemotherapy - You produce an influx of radiation, massively increasing your ability to heal and take damage (Self: +MaxHP, +Regeneration)

3) Beta Armor - You generate a hot radioactive field of Beta particles around you that poisons all enemies in the area, while poisoned, their concentration is reduced, and may induce vomiting. (Toggle: PBAE, Taunt, Foe, -Acc, -Def, special)

4) Hot Skin - You generate a field over your body interfering with interfering energies. (Toggle: Self, +Res Hold, Sleep, Immobilize, and Slow)

5) Energetic Being - Your body has become Radiation itself, making it more difficult for certain energies and chemicals to harm you. (Auto: Self, +Def Energy, Negative, Toxic)

6) Gamma Armor - You generate a field around your body of Gamma particles reducing the force of incoming forms of energy. (Toggle: Self, +Res Energy, Negative, Psychic)

7) Control Rods - Through careful manipulation of the energies in your body, Temperature variations are controlled. (Toggle: Self +Def Heat, Cold, +Res Disorient)

8) Cosmic Battery - You draw Radiant Cosmic energies into your being, increasing you and your nearby allies Endurance recovery, while doing so, your movements are slowed as you channel these energies. Super Jump, Super Speed, and Fly cannot be used during this channeling (Toggle: Self +Recovery, Self -Spd)

9) Hyper Mutation - You gather in massive amounts of Energy and release in a massive burst, increasing your attack speed, running speed, and attack power; after a short time this will leave you exhausted and weak, leaving you unable to recover for a few seconds; If you are defeated while using this power, you release a powerful explosion of Radiation, causing your enemies to have a massively reduced Accuracy and Defense. Cosmic Battery cannot be used with this power is active. (Self +recharge, +Spd, +Dmg, Special)

Power Set Name: Radioactive Melee
Arch-Type Pool: Tanker Secondary, possible Brute, Scrapper Primary

1) Neutrino Brawl - A quick, low damage attack that reduces a target's defense. (Melee Foe Minor Dmg (Energy/Smash), -Def)

2) X-Ray Flash - A flash of X-Ray energy from your eyes that does more damage than Neutrino Brawl. (Melee Foe Moderate Dmg (Energy), -Def)

3) Flash Burn - Your skin quickly releases a quick burst of radiation, causing nearby enemies to be radiated. (Melee (AOE), Foe Moderate Dmg (Energy), -Def).

4) Taunt - You challenge a foe to a fight; useful for pulling enemies off your allies. (Ranged, Foe Taunt)

5) Cosmic Blow - Your raised hand channels Cosmic Radiant energy to crash down on your opponent. (Melee Foe Superior Damage (Smashing/Energy), -Def)

6) Build Up - Greatly increases the amount of damage you do for a few seconds, and also slightly increases your accuracy. (Self +Dmg, +Acc)

7) Electron Breath - You breathe out a massive amount of radiation in a narrow cone, slightly reducing their Defense. (Cone, Foe Superior Dmg (Energy), -Def)

8) Cosmic Burst - You smash the target with cosmic particles. The attack is devestating, and can leave most targets disoriented and with reduced defenses. (Ranged Foe Superior Dmg (Energy), Disorient)

9) Meltdown - You absorb a massive amount of cosmic radiation, causing you to overload your own body and releasing a massive explosion of Gamma Radiation and force, affecting all opponents near you. Enemies are Knocked Back by the explosion even if they are unaffected by the energy release. Using this power is draining leaving you unable to recover or attack for a few seconds. (PBAE, Foe Extreme Dmg (Energy), Knockback, -Def Self -Recovery, -Recharge, Special)

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

Personally, I always wanted to see a new type of AT that could be played on both the villain and the hero side. I was thinking of calling it the Wizard or something and making it a Veteran reward. Perhaps after being on the game for two years it unlocks this AT for both sides.

What I was thinking with this AT was that the primary would be a mix of ranged and melee damage of various types. You would have a darkness sword attack that does melee dark energy. You'd have a toxic cloud attack that sends a cloud of toxid dot damage a moderate range. You'd be able to throw a fireball, touch an enemy and do a large amount of cold damage to them as well as slow them down dramatically with a freezing touch. The whole point is that your primary does a wide variety of damage of all the different types.

The secondary set would contain a wide variety of abilities as well. You'd have a toggle armor that protects you from lethal and smashing damage. You'd be able to do a speed and recharge debuff in an area with quicksand or something similar. You'd have a power that works a bit like accelerate metabolism to buff your allies and something that could debuff your enemies.

I just thought it would be quite fun having one AT that exists on both sides and one that is like a mixture of all the other ATs and can touch on all the different types of powers but specialize in none.

I was also thinking of giving this AT a special power that works with your team mates abilities. If someone on your team uses an attack that does fire damage then your fire damage attack is increased in strength for ten seconds afterwards. If someone on your team uses a hold then your hold or immobilization in your secondary increases in strength briefly. And if you have a scrapper or brute on your team then your armor defence would be buffed a bit as well and so on.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

those sound like cool ideas! i've always wanted to see a force field set for scrappers and tankers. it could be just like the force field defender/controller set, but affecting self, and maybe personal force field would be in there somewhere just to shake things up.

Some ideas I would like to see would be time control and psychic melee. I'll post more later when I have thought it through.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

I'd been thinking that psychic melee could be a real cool power to see for scrappers and stalkers as well. Maybe have one power where you do a short range mind blast on a foe and one where you have psycic blades come out and you stab your opponents with them.

Teleporting attacks you can pick even without having teleport as a travelpower?
No way, that's just st....
There have been discussions about extra powerpool assosiated with a chosen travelpower, maybe with additional attackpowers, but an offensive TP-set...no way.

Sailor Mercury.

Besides, it's good that there are no "water blasters" in comics, because then it'd force original characters, with little chance of copy-catting.

Also, I second the shape shifting powerset, just it would take a LOT of work to make.

Also, vehicles for travel powers, like a motercycle, and a car.

Maybe a swing-line (ala Spider-Man, Black Cat or Batman)

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

Awhile ago I came up with a tanker armor set and blaster secondary set. I posted them before but got some mixed results. I've reviewed and reworked them so opinions would be good.

Metal Armor
You can manipulate various alloys and materials into armors that protect you and reduce all forms of damg. The draw back to this set is the lack of resistance to fear or confusion.

1. Steel Skin-Your skin is as hard as steel and have good resistance to smashing and lethal damg (auto)

2. Steel Armor- You cover yourself in heavy steel, dramaticly reducing all smashing and lethal damg (toggle)

3. Metal Spikes-Sharp spikes protrude from all over you body damging all enemies that get near. (PBAoE toggle)

4.Galvanize- You concentrate for a moment to to repair any damged armor and adds an extra layer of metal, increasing you HP for awhile (click, self heal)

5. Iron Will- By toggling on this power you become highly resistant to immobolize, sleep, hold, and disorient, but any foe that is near you will want to crush that will, and your def will be lowered. (toggle, self resist mez effects)

6. Ceramic Armor- By forming a layer of special ceramic coating, you will gain resistance to heat and cold, redusing the damg from fire and ice attacks. (toggle)

7. Lead Armor- Lead is one of the densiest metals in the world and is used to keep radiation and other dangerous poisons from escaping. Using lead armor will reduce the damg from energy, negative energy, and toxic. (toggle)

8. Aluminum Shield- It is believed that aluminum has properties that block the thoughts others from entering your mind and reading your thoughts. By putting up and Aluminum shield you can reduce the damg of psionic attacks. (toggle)

9. Composite Armor- YOu combine all of your armors into one, giving you amazing resistance to all damg. But this mix of armors is incrediably heavy, and you will be slowed, have a decreased recharge on all your powers, and lowered def. (toggle)

Opnions pls, ty

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

OK, here are my thoughts for Psychic Melee:

1 - Psychic Punch - You channel psychic energy through your fist to deliver minor damage.
Damage: Minor Recharge: Fast

1 - Psychic Punch - You force more psychic energy through your fist to deliver a more powerful attack, but takes longer to execute.
Damage: Moderate Recharge: Moderate

2 - Occipital Punch - You deliver a blow to your foe's occiput, sending him off balance and throwing him down to the ground for added damage.
Damage: High Recharge: Moderate

6 - Parietal Blow - You aim for the Parietal Lobe, preventing your foe from moving his body at all, effectively holding him in place.
Damage: Moderate (DoT) Recharge: Slow

8 - Psychic Sword Circle - You focus your psychic energy in to the shape of a sword and spin round, hitting all foes within melee range.
Damage: Moderate Recharge: Moderate

12 - Confront - Challenges a foe to attack you. Useful to pull a villain off an ally who finds himself in over his head. An accuracy check is needed to taunt enemy players, but is not required on critter targets.
Recharge: Fast

18 - Upload Pain - You transfer your pain to your opponent, thus healing your own wounds.
Damage: Moderate Recharge: Moderate

26 - Your mind explodes in to a thousand pieces, damaging all foes within melee range.
Damage: Superior (DoT) Recharge: Very Long

Any comments?

My main criticism is that is doesn't make sense conceptually to make different types of metal in a wearable armor be toggles. It's not like you can flip a switch and make your armor become aluminum unless you have some pretty sophisticated matter transmorgrification going on, and then why not keep it as "uber-metal" all the time?

I do, however, like the idea of a very passive-heavy armor set. Perhaps we could have one set be high-tech armor with a lot of toggles and another low-tech armor set which isn't as protective, but is entirely passive and doesn't drain endurance.

I'm an incurable altoholic, but most recently I've played as these characters:

Abana (hero, Champion), lvl 44 mag tanker, stone/stone/fit
Etain Echraide (hero, Virtue), lvl 21 mag controller, plant/therm
One Man Vs. The Mob (hero, Virtue), lvl 11 sci blaster, nrg/nrg/fly/stealth
Ballplayer Reverend (hero, Champion), lvl 19 nat tanker, will/mace/speed

Look, it's a comicbook based game. There are alot more ways than technology to explain how one can 'wear' metal. Besides, couldn't you say the same thing about the Rock Armor, Fire Aura, and Ice Armor sets?

OK, if you're thinking superpowered ability to "become metal" a la Colossus, then yes toggles make sense.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

And a tech-based ranged attack set that could be used for Blasters, Corrupters, Defenders and possibly Dominators. Perfect for your alien invader or space ranger types.

RAYGUN

1 - Laser: You fire a tight beam of light that inflicts minor lethal/fire damage. Very quick recharge.

1 - Maser: You fire a beam of microwave energy that inflicts moderate fire/energy damage. A hit foe may catch fire, dealing damage over time.

2 - Freeze Ray: You fire a freeze ray, dealing cold damage. An affected foe's attack rate will be slowed. The attack also has a chance of imprisoning the foe in a block of ice, dealing minor cold/smashing damage over time and immobilizing him.

6 - Force Bolt: You fire a bolt of energy at your foe dealing minor smashing/energy damage. The attack also has a chance of knocking the target down. Very quick recharge.

8 - Black Light Ray: You fire a ray of negative energy. The target will be enveloped in darkness for a time, reducing his accuracy.

12 - Aim: Greatly increases the Accuracy of your attacks for a few seconds and slightly increases damage.

18 - Acid Cloud Ray: This causes an acid cloud to form around your target and any nearby foes. The attack deals minor toxic damage over time, weakens their defense and reduces their accuracy during the time in which they're affected.

26 - Hypno Beam: A ray that deals minor psionic damage and will put your foe to sleep. A sleeping foe is immobilized and cannot attack, but will wake up if attacked. Higher level enemies may resist sleep effects.

32 - Barrage: Toggle. Turns the other attacks in this set into continuous beams. You fire once and don't let up until you turn it off or the target is either out of line-of-sight or is eliminated. The damage output is reduced from the first initial burst, and your endurance can be drained rather quickly.

Advatages: This set has an inherent range bonus. Also this set contains attacks wielding all eight common damage types in the game. If your foe has a weakness for one type of damage, you can exploit it. Barrage gives a great "pour on the punishment" power. Most attacks have quick recharges.

Disadvatages: This is one ranged attack set that lacks a snipe attack. It also lacks any attacks that do more than moderate damage.

RE: Sets I'd Like to See

Me again.
Something me and my brother have been working on is an epic archtype called a Beast Master. Basically you have three forms, tiger, eagle and bear, and each has their own armour and melee attacks. When you're a tiger you have high lethal damage and quick recharge rates, but are easily hit. When you're an eagle you have high speed and defense and built in fly but deal less damage. when you're a bear you deal high smashing damage and have lots of defense, but are slow and have slow recharge rates.

Has anyone got any comments?
