which patron has the best stroy arch for the powers. Im not sure which one i want and it might just come down to which has the best story line.

Having never done a patron arc personally, I honestly don't know what arc would be considered "the best." Also, "the best" is very subjective, as what I enjoy may be vastly different from what you enjoy.
Dread Tomax Villain Contacts
That link is to Red Tomax's Villain contact page. From there, you can click on each of the patrons and read their arcs. Find which one you like the most, and go with it. It may be a bit of a spoiler, so read at your own risk, but I still find missions fun, even when I already know the story.

With my regular VG teammates all four of us each picked a different patron. So I played all four story arcs in short succession. And I loved them all four! They are some of the coolest stories in the game. I would just pick any and enjoy the ride. You won't be disappointed.
Edit: And in stead of going to some other less exciting website you can also read up on all the arcs here.

I got to admit. I really don't know which one I am doing yet. I am leaning towards Mace Mastery though...

I've done 2 patrons completely, and 1 partially. Mako and Black Scorpion were pretty fun arcs. Mako's mission where you have to fight him was tough as a /energy brute, all the Psi flying around made that one take a while >.<
Black Scorpions missions are very fun, I espcially liked one where you take on Nemesis, being my favorite group to fight.
Ghost Widow I've only done up to where you fight her, and that wasn't *too* bad, but I had the old version of MoG to help my stalker avoid her hold. *shutter*
I haven't done much of scircco's arc, but I did the mission where you have to fight him, and all the Mu's are a hazard to your end.
They all have been fun to play, each with their own challenges to take on. But no matter what you choose, you'll have fun with the story line and gameplay.

Scircco arch once i finally get my mm to 50. I am really thinking ahead cause my 2 mm's are only 20 and 12.
