I'm probably just making this thread for myself (but unconsciously helping others!) but I just felt like making a thread where you can ask all of those stupid, pointless, off topic questions. Heres mine:
What would my mom's cousin be considered to me? Uncle/ Aunt or what?

They pop because the carbon dioxide trapped within a pop rock is released when the rock candy is melted. Basically you got carbon dioxide in a hollow candy, when the candy melts the carbon is lets out so quickly it pops out bubbles.
