i made a wallpaper

using screenies and MS paint. came out ok, but MS paint butchered the sharpness and clarity i worked 2 hours to get. dammit. anyway, enjoy.

well, just be prepared to have a great time with MS paint. unless you have a better editing program. i got the font by downloading the fan site kite from coh.com

bad part is you have to open your c:\windows\fonts folder and drag and drop it in there

Looks good.

One thing I would suggest for the next one is to have your characters in different poses. What you have is fine, but it might make the shot more dramatic if there was some action from one to the next. Maybe have one or two of them firing off a power (depends on what their powers are, of course. Some won't look good or would be hard to cut/paste)

how would i do that? i cant figure out how the rotate the camera to the front outside of logging and snapping the pic

If you're using the default key controls, then hold down the middle button (or scroll wheel) or your mouse. That will allow you to move the camera around your character. You can also use the scroll wheel to zoom in or out. Press "B" to go to first person view and press "B" again to go back to having the camera at your back again.

I'm too lazy to keep up with my own altoholism. Abana is my "main" right now as I'm going for my first level 50, but as for my creations here's a short list:

Nice. You could also just have him pose using one animation emote but have different moments of it as well as turning the camera angle. :) I've got too much leveling to do for something cool as your wall paper.

Use the page up key. Rotate the camera by clicking and holding the right mouse button while holding pageup to get the angle you want, then hit print screen to snap the screenie.

Also, if you have an interest in an image editor, I highly suggesting going to adobe and downloading a free trial of photoshop. Its a magical program, it really is... and I use it for odds and ends every day. Even just for sizing and resizing, or cropping images. I'll have to throw up some of my old work from my photoshop tinkering days to give you an idea of what you can do.

I love using Gimp, like photoshop. But its free. Ill have to get the link and post it here =D. nice wall paper. definately would look better if they had different poses.

thanks a ton guys. round two will be coming soon, now that i know how to pose and stuff. also, im thinking about doing this for other people for a fee. nothing large, probably just ingame influence or something. just throwing the idea out there

UPDATE:

got a photoshop free trial, just gonna crack it so i dont have to pay. but ive got some posed shots, so far its looking very good. just not sure how im gonna set this one up.
