| Can't Find CoH/CoV anywhere to upgrade my trial account. |

So today i went to target and gamestop and i couldnt find any copy of CoH/CoV, or the mixed version. I'm currently on my trial but i really wanna get the game officially.
I asked an employee at Target and he told me that they weren't gonna stock up on CoH/CoV because a new game called City of Champion, and that it would join together with Coh/Cov. Same goes for the NCSoft time cards,
so i was wondering
1. Is city of Champions gonna combine with current City titles?
2. What is city of champions?
3.Where can i get NCSoft time cards?
4.Whens is the release date for city of champions?
5. If i can't find time cards, what would be the next best alternate to get subion w/o credit card?

I think you mean Champions online because thats the only superhero game coming out with Champions in the title and made by Cryptic. And uh yeah try bestbuy all the places you went, cept gamestop, suck for games. And you can buy the game online at the main site from what I know. As for buying a timecard yet again, bestbuy, not target or whatever you went to. Gamestop isnt really meant for computer games and stuff like that. And as for champions online... well lets just say thats a long ways away.

What you want is called the Good vs. Evil Edition.
Best Buy has stopped carrying time cards, but may still have copies of the game.
Gamestop has it at some locations, but not all. They generally will not special order anything. This store really specializes in platform games, so availability of PC games depends on the tastes of the branch manager.
Circuit City carries the game and the time cards, but not in large supply. They are willing to order it for you. That is corporate policy - the manager can get in trouble for not ordering it for you.
Fry's Electronics is pushing GvE edition. Any location will have at least a few dozen on the shelves. It's only $20 there.
Other large computer stores are likely to have it, while you take your chances with the small game stores.

Target carries the Good vs Evil edition.
Walmart generally caries it.
Consider educating the Gamestop store on the fact that they're NOT the same game and that Champions Online won't be out for at LEAST another year.

Impressive, they're not going to sell CoH/CoV for the next one or two years until Champions arrives? Kudo's to that marketing strategy. I hope for them they'll still be around when it finally ships.
Champions is a different game, not going to be published by NCSoft so no way in hell it's going to "join" with CoH/V. NCSoft time-cards are used for six different subbed games. Not selling them because in the next two years one of those might somehow disappear is, ehm, stupid? I recommend looking for another store.

NCSoft says the payment options currently available are credit or debit cards and pre-paid game time cards.

As everyone has said, Champions Online will be a competing game and not connected with the CoX games. Some people might be confused because Cryptic is making it, but Cryptic is no longer working on CoX. Development has been taken over by NCSoft, with most of the developers that had worked on the game jumping over to NCSoft's new division. So while it's the same company that worked on City of Heroes, it's not all the same people.

You might know it as your "bank card", I do. Quite often it's the card you put in ATM machines to get money out of them.
For consumers, the difference between a "debit card" and a "credit card" is that the former immediately deducts the balance from a checking or savings account, whereas the latter allows the consumer to spend money they might not actually have (but promise to pay later to the card-issuing bank).
In some countries: When a merchant asks "credit or debit?" the answer determines whether they will use a merchant account affiliated with one or more traditional credit card associations (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, etc.) or an interbank network typically used for debit and ATM cards, like PLUS, Cirrus (interbank network), or Maestro.

yeah, but that's the version I bought to play US servers. The OP wanted the boxed version as i understood it. This is the digital download, like you can get at direct2drive.com linked at the top of this very page!
At least direct him to the Digital download that benefits your own site ;-P
