This just came to me, I know we have global chat and all, but wouldn't it be fun if we all met on one server sometime? maybe next weekend or something. If you are interested, leave a reply with your home server and whether you prefer Firday, Saturday, or Sunday. We can pick the server and day by popular opinion. If it ends up on your home server, no worries, just meet us at the right time. If it isnt our home server, we can each make a level 1 with our Forum Name and same look.
I am on justice, and whatever day you all decide is fine with me.
Proposed meeting spot: if its my server, I will tp us all to the top of the globe. We can chill there.

I'm all about a meet and greet, but I'm sure my home server(s) won't get chosen. My main characters live on Guardian, Liberty, and Triumph, but I'll make a new hero just to talk "face to face" with some of our favorite celebrities. I'd also like to place my vote for Sunday. My brother is getting married this weekend, so Sunday is the only day that I could make it. If I can't, it's still a great idea.

We do have a have global chat channel for those who would like to join! I set it up as private but can change it to Public. I don't think that there is a master list of all channels; unless you publish it somewhere. But for now if you would like an invite; send me chat to @Grifter0408 or PM here w/ your global name.
That is a cool idea about meeting up. I can tell you that there is a great deal of Triumph players but I don't think it would be an issue to make an all. But I do know that Justice tends to get heavy load and that could be a problem for some. But lets see who else responds and suggest. Maybe the ALL MIGHTY Site Manager will bestow upon us her infinite wisdom! *cue the angels and heavanly music*

Why don't we all meet in the TEST SERVER where you can copy your fav character from any server? As an added bonus, those of you who don't know how to use the test server, as Grifter seems to be a good teacher for this...

if we are just going to be just doing a face to face we might as well get on a real server for those that may not have test up... i'm open on the weekend (yeah no life here) so just let me know a day and i'll be sure to come... also if we going for a vote on servers i'm going to have to vote Triumph (b/c well that is my home) but i'm not opposed to creating an alt to meet you guys... so we should schedual it for at least an hour (2 would be better for those that may have a bit of conflict w/ the time)...

So it shall be written! So it shall be done! (that's a movie quote, anyone? anyone?) I like Triumph, test would be good but if you have slow computer or unable to access the test because of where you play then could be a problem. I would make an alt but I probably wouldnt play it. New playable alts are for Triumph and test alt (design wise for other servers). How about a vote? Majority rules? Then we set a date, looks like this weekend isn't as good but also post the best day/date for you.

Time: weekends are out. I have RPG's on friday and saturday and parents on sunday.
Server: I would have to make a new character but i could do that.
Place: Atlas gets too crowded. Why not somewhere thats not crowded, like under Talos or in the picnic area in Eastgate Heights. Oh, scratch the picnic area if I have to make a new character unless I'm going to PL just for the meeting lol! Maybe we could clear off Gimry Ridge and have a picnic up there?

I did realy like the test server idea, but making people DL it would be wasteful of time. I propose that we do it during this week now, after hearing everyone has busy weekends, let me know how a during the week thing works. Sorry, i refuse to push it back a few weeks, bc we all know that means it wont happen :)
Anyway, you seem to want to do it somewhere more private, why not on top a skyscraper in Steel? A newly created alt need only get to yellow line and be recalled up there.
So, heres what i am updating it to:
Maybe Thursday evening, for two hours, on triumph? (Location still under debate)
Im happy my idea grew :)

Maybe GC near the Landlocked badge location, nice serene water setting in the park. Or maybe a sky scrapper in GC. Seems to be less crowded there.

Liz the Lizzard also has recall friend so when i get there i will be able to play taxi... also i won't be able to get there until around 6:30 b/c i get off work at 6 and that traffic thingy tends to take a bit sometimes

After seeing all the issues for this week and the resounding "let's do it agains," I recommend that this become an ongoing activity. Possibly a bi-monthly event or something to that effect. Plus, it might be a good recruiter for the site. I know if I saw 30 random heroes standing around talking that I'd ask what was going on. Just a thought.

Plus, if the powers that be decide that this warrants a repeat, we could even give some love to the other servers. Of course, when I say "we," I mean everyone else. No one ever listens to the lowly level 2s. Then again - LEVEL 2!!! Whoo!
