Ok, so this is not for sure but, I was over on the cov forum site and I sent Lighthouse a PM about Global Chat Handles. Reason is that I don't like mine and I accidently changed it to a SG name that I was in once, so I asked him if there was anything he could do for me and this is what he said:
My understanding is that we may give out a chat handle respec to everyone in Issue 12. No promises tho. As it stands right now, there is no way to change your global if you've used your one.
Thanks for the feedback.
So hopefully this will happen

yeah, that is a stickler, being able to change the global only once. I know there is a good reason, but by chance if it needs to be changed more than once, there should be another option (paying for it may be another option).
I hope they do,cause this darned BishopDon Global name is just not sitting well with me atm :) lol

Hehehe, In your moment in the spotlight is the glare a bit too much? The price you pay for being known as a Gameamp Guru.
I can see it now... Bish logs on and immediately swamped by private tells. "whats the best way to...", "where do I find...", "which powerset will best compliment my costume?" etc, etc, ad nauseum.
We love our Admin's. Some just tend to do it in a way that smacks of stalking and restraining orders.

I actually still have my one-change-allowed change available. I tried to change my handle from @Phedre Delaunay to just @Phedre, but the system refused that. So now my global is probably just too complex for people to spell correct, or I am just making people tremble with fear, but I hardly even get questions. But I like BD's idea to make it a payable option. If you really want it changed than you can do it.
