So i decided to start playing again, short 6 month break. And I find that i didn't miss much besides the complete dumbing down of just about every word and a complete abandonment of proper grammar.
Congratulations > Congrats > Gratz/Grats > *Gz*
Now im all for neologisms and such but the fact its two letters seems very odd and i feel it completely loses the point of saying it at all.
But enough of my complaining to move on to the real point of this topic and that is fun. Titles and ranks really mean nothing to me and they probably never will , so ive decided to just to go out and have fun. Ive been enjoying the HM norn farm groups with the guys that go rambo and blame me on their death because i didn't heal them, the joy and glee and doing 7/10 uw quests then dieing abruptly, the endless search for a 20/20 healing prayers staff mod for my Tengu staff, the fact i can pay 2.5k for an HM run through the Cathedral of Flames and make the money back in loot; and of course, the discovery of new monking builds so easy to operate i can practically sit back and watch cartoons rather than watch health bars.
It feels strange to have fun in this kind of game because for awhile there i was stuck in a vortex where the MMO felt like a second job and a responsibility. Now i know this isn't my blog so im stopping here and leaving so you can talk about how pointless this post is.
also - where did the chests go in UW? i didnt see a single one.

Welcome back demonstroke. I try my best to use full sentences, think that is the correct version of the spelling, anyway hope you enjoy your stay and the abbreviations don't stoke that peeve fire in your brain, because so many people doing it would be hard to change.

Even though I do not know you; welcome back.
I also try to use good grammar and not many abbreviations. My kind of an abbreviation is as follows: because -> cuz or cause.
And stuff like that..

I have to agree on the gz part. Was getting pretty annoying that when I was doing SS/LB points farm, everytime a goldy dropped the whole party just auto typed "gz". Wich could also be translated as "I wish I had that gold unid myself, but since it's rude not to say anything these days I'll just say gz".
But than again.. typing congratitusislations every time is a pretty big word... so I'll just keep it on "congrats" and only say it when I mean it =P
