Been asking my kinsmen and women whether they use any lotro online websites besides the official one, telling them about gameamp. I found someone who used to use gameamp, and informed the others that they're missing out. =D

Yay! Great to hear the good people of Middle Earth know about GameAmp. It is indeed a pity our LOTRO site is not more busy. Unfortunately unlike most official game sites, the LOTRO official site has all the information you would ever need. It is really hard for us to compete with that. But if we would just get a couple of people discussing their times and tribulations here on the forum, and perhaps tell us some stories about their backgrounds, things could turn around.
I am sure Middle Earth is filled with players wanting to tell their tales. Maybe we can be that place where to tell them ...

Excellent work Aims. =D
Unfortunately for Gameamp, Phedre's summation is correct, though I've been trying to think of ways in which Gameamp could improve it's forum originality.
See most places have loads of content, but 90% of it seems to be reference material and articles, and I had a few ideas on how we could improve this site relative to user needs.
Such things as:
- Guides on how to play certain classes.
- Guides on how to level quickly.
- Guides on how to make money.
- Instead of loads of lengthy guides, a small tips section, so that people could contribute more, with less effort.
- Focus more on user submitted screenshots, as many forums lack such features.
- Perhaps competitions, though with server restrictions this could be hard, unless advertised on the official forums. =)
- Invest more time into lore and roleplaying, especially effective with The Hobbit films and new areas being unlocked.
Any other ideas would be truly appreciated, and I'll get onto 'the powers that be' to see if I can get such things as forum rearrangement sorted out.

As i said before I would really like to see a tips section. I have ideas for articles to write, but haven't got round to doing it yet. Been too busy playing. LOL. I'll put aside some time for it though

Once my new powers come into effect, I'm gonna ask the devs for a few things including a tips and hints section. You musn't feel as though we're forcing you to submit content though, I just want everyone to have a good time at this site. =)
Edit, Here's the plan idea sent to the devs:
