| Hunting for a stolen barrel |

I was hunting for a stolen barrel in bindole woods, in the shire yesterday and got my first look at a walking tree. I got quite the start, I thought I was going to have to try club it, but when I clicked it I discovered it was green. Thanks goodness for that. Wish I'd taken a screenhot though, twas pretty good.

Oh boy, if you haven't already been there you'll love the Old Forest. I remember going there with my burglar at like level 13, those woods are scary the music, the monsters, the atmosphere, all really creepy.
And those trees will attack you, the only refuge is ol' Tom's hut.

They attack? Sure thats not some other ones? He had a green bar as opposed to red (attack on site) or yellow (attack if attacked)

Sorry, I was talking about 'The Old Forest' which is a different place, in southern Bree.
I haven't really had the time to traverse around Bindole Woods, though I've been to Overhill, which is like the coolest place in Middle Earth. ;)

I am just about to start qquesting in the old forest, I'll be looking forward to burning some bad ass trees. I was looking for my wandering tree today, but guess what? He'd wandered off somewhere. =( Should have photo'd him when I had the chance. I didn't know about F12 then...

Oh boy, bad news! The Old Forest trees no longer attack people! =O Some updatde decided it wasn't working so they made them less agressive, quite a shame since now you can practically stroll through the place. =(

Yeah it sucks, Ive seen some people complaining on the US forums, I'm gonna look for a similar post on the UK forums so we can get it changed back. =)
Otherwise, I'll report it as a bug in-game, and see what a gm has to say.

Speaking of bugs there is an annoying one on our server atm. Every now and then - for a few seconds to a few minutes your character gets frozen. Fortunately I haven't been in combat when it's happened. I know it's not my connection. I wrote a ticket and they are aware or and working on it. So hope they get it done soon.
They should make the trees aggresive and if they were *too much for players before* they should just make them less common.
