correct me if I'm wrong here, any special drops are independant of the monster difficulty?? If thats the case then your best bet is something easy, something that doesnt drop too much crapola. so yeah nolani or ice caves would be the best for farming pure drops.. maybe even run around old ascalon areas. or shing jea monastary, that said, beginning of night fall would be quick and easy, but they have smaller groups.
i might check out the beetletun undead horde quest see if they drop anything.
If I feel the drops arent good enough I'll hit up my ice imp farming builds, or just Duo UW/ Fow
they should make the people in PvP drop items too, that would be hilarious

Let me correct you ;)
not independant of the monster difficulty.
In the beginning of Nightfall is a very easy group of like 20 lvl 2 enemys... it would be too easy
In PvP AB NPC's did drop items last weekend or at least weekend of the year before.
also see THIS topic.

So which collectables do you think we will be able to trade in. If Charr carvings are one of them where is the best place to farm them. Nolani? I need party points badly so the I figure the fastest way would be to farm where you get multiple useful drops.
Any other tips (remember fast is key also) beside raptor farming as the collectable there isn't tradable for anything good.
Note - I wonder if dual farming Nolani with a OF/sliver ele and a Reckless haste/EoE Necro would let you do it quick in HM, Hippie if you want to give it a try I should be on late tonight or tommorow night
I PM you a build tell me what you think

What I did for last item event.
I farmed hydras
HM
Solo 55 SS nec
took half hour to clear 3/4 of the hydra land
(93 enemies(hydras+griffons) slain)
Got 103 eggs,51 bunnies.
19 golds
2 lock picks
3k in gold drops (low?)
and I did that in half hour to a hr.
^^
