Well I have been playing COV almost ever night for close to 2 years now. I think it's time for a break. I'm not to impressed with I12, so I will be back when I13 hits. Plus, a friend want me to give Wow a chance (I have only played it for 30 days and he doesn't think that is long Enough to give a game a chance lol).
Plus there are other games i need to finish (half-life 2 ep 2, Stalker, and others)
Until then... have fun killing pixels

I12 didn't do it for ya huh...sorry to hear that.
I was actually looking forward to it personally....but if you're going to mainly play WOW, then i know you'll be back soon :)

Well Bishop, you were right. I'm Back.
There was aspects of WoW i did like. The whole crafting was a switch from the grind. Yet overall The pacing of the game is way to slow for my taste.
I still believe that more should be added to COX. I in no way mean another Archtype, or powersets which are fun. Just after playing 2 toons to level 50. There is nothing new.
Hopefully the whole Roman thinger will change the pace for a little.

I wouldn't say horrible.
I enjoy WoW, but I don't have the time to commmit to the massive grind that's necessary to do well at the game.
The City of Games require far less time to enjoy yourself.
Sometimes WoW feels like a job.

That's why it's horrible.
Not just that though. The Wow community annoys me and the game itself just didn't seem that intuitive. Heck, I had more fun playing Runescape than I did playing WoW.

Isn't that the truth.
The time I spent playing WOW I'll tell you what, it was spent mostly running around and hardly any fighting unless I happened to wonder in the wrong area and then getting killed by alliance. My friend told me " just wait till you hit lvl 40 " ill get a mount. I was thinking are you f'n kidding me in City of I can have a travel power at lvl 10. I also felt it wasn't much of a game one could solo and most of the time thats how I play. I felt WOW had me running around too much instead of actually getting to have fun.

never played WOW, so can't speak from experience, but from what I've heard and still hear, I know it's not the game for me...with limited playing time and all.

I won't speak against WoW (not that I am not tempted to...) but I will speak for CoX:
- Unequalled character creation, including special advanced characters (Kheldians and soon Arachnos)
- Original context of MMO play (not the old, overused, cliche, stereotyped medieval fantasy setting... although you can even have such stuff if you want, through some archetypes, powers, locations, enemies and story arcs.)
- Living, changing, expanding world where zones are rebuilt (like Faultline), Rikti invades, Occult powers arise at Halloween, Winter and St-Valentine events...
= Total freedom in playing either PvE, PvP or both, including the ability to switch modes even in mid gaming, without one imposing itself on the other.
- Complete solo playability.
- Very easy team playability, including the special sidekick/lackey feature allowing mutually profitable high level/low level interaction.
= Challenging fairness in PvP ( no level 70 pounding level ones coming out of the starting gate and steal their stuff).
- Fun and fast pacing play with very little wasted time moving from one action site to the other with all the travel powers and teleporting options.
- No easy stealkilling as the game proportionate xp to damage and missions are instanced.
- A great variety of game play: street hunting, instanced missions, task forces, monster hunting, police band/broker mayhem missions, arena challenges (inclufing monkey fights in Pocket D)and even the possibility of going back to earlier missions.
- Continual fun, playability and challenges at all levels, not just at end game (no grinding required).
- Fast, simple, easy, minimal crafting that is not even required to enjoy the game or perform well through it.
- The option to build a nice, fully equiped, practical base as your ''special space '' in the game.
- A well behaved, mature, helpful and cool community (not to mention Ampers!) often contributing to the world,s liveliness (costume contests, arena tournaments, Pocket D parties and more)
- Frequent expansions at no charge, minimal playing cost and minimal fees for special options that are not essentially required to fully enjoy the game.
What more could anyone ask for?
And to think that there is still more to come...

I have played on a trial and I just could not get into it. It just didn't have the same effect on me as COH/COV does.
