| Problems replying to topics. |

I noticed the other day that occasionly when I clicked reply to topic on any thread the page would simply refresh and not redirect to the post submission page where you type out your reply, normaly I'd just try it again and it would work fine but more recently I've had further problems. Sometimes I have to atempt over 10 times just for the correct page to load and on some occasions it wouldn't work at all. It's odd sometimes it's completely fine then the next time I try it just doesn't respond.
Was wondering if anyone had similar problems. It doesn't seem to be my net as everything is working correctly when I use other websites and Guildwars, just thought it was a bit strange that it keeps happening now. Anyway hope this problem is refined to me and not a mass problem.

Haha I posted almost the same thing, but it had to do with the PM's: clicky
Though it happens more frequently the last few days imo. One reason why I always ctrl + a, ctrl + c everything before I click Add Reply.

Thats not what he is talking about. He is clicking the Reply to Topic button at the bottom of the page. Your problem is that the page timed out. I think his is a bug, because it has happened to me before when I clicked the button within 30 seconds of loading the page.

Yes.. the Reply to Topic button seems to have a hidden F5 quality in there.

YARRRR I had to press this like 40 times just to write this!!
Anyway yeah guessing it's not just me then lol, any ideas what's causing it anyone?

Wow 40 times is a little more severe than I have =] But I have to get up in.. 7 hours so I should really get some sleep in stead of fantasizing about what causes the bug on a forum haha

Same, i had to hit dat big buddon quite a few times, plus im not connecting that fast to GameAmp at all tonight, could be that my Innernetz is having a hard time or something, but my DL-Computer has nothing goin' on, still, the Connection latency could be a reason for the Reply Time-out/Error.

Yeah I gotta get in it about 5 and a half or so, I'm really bad I only sleep 3 or 4 hours a night, I have to wake up at 5am and I hardly ever go to bed before 1am. Even if I do go to bed early I just toss and turn for a few hours before I fall asleep. That faithless song springs to mind :) Still I seem to cope with it.

Well just to write this it took me several clicks of the Quote button, it seems the quite button just kept refreshing the current page and not taking me to the box to type in... anyways i have noticed that the site has been running very slow for the past few days...taking a few minutes to load certian pages or page fails and im on a brodband connection of around 300-400 KBPs (16-Meg Per second Comcast my arse) anyway yea slow site today.

As explained to me once long, long ago:
The Reply thingy is number of connections to the server.
The PM thingy is Time-Out or number of connections to the server when it's not a time-out. Like when you ctrl+A/C'd and CTRL+V'd & submitted 1 second after page load.
No big mysteries there :-)

Heh, i got 2 versions of that one, it's a good classic song yeah, good times good times.
3-4 Hours of sleep is short, for a month or two it's alright, but making it a habit for years won't be kind on how you will look or how your attitude will be, also, burnouts & stress are more potent with little sleep, but im telling you things you probably have heard or realized yourself a while ago.

That's exactly my problem, just refreshes the page.

I had that problem but after spending 15 minutes of checking random boxes and mashing buttons it seems to have stopped *fingers crossed* for this post atleat. It seems to be that security settings(or whatever they were, they dissappeared after fixing it) were blocking this kind of thing, but this may have been my computer alone, not sure.

If the reply button just refreshes the page. Just click it several times at once, and it should go through to the post input page.

I used to have this problem I hold down the mouse button for half a second seems to work for me. also Lani is right if it refreshes quickly click the reply button before your avatar moves it across to the left.

Nope I have the same problem.. it took me almost 30 seconds just to load the homepage.
