Not really going to vent anything out. But it is extremely stupid to not allow dwarven armor in the hall of monuments, as well as the 1.5k sets. The kurz 1.5k for monk looks better than the 15k set. They should allow all faction related armor and EotN armor sets , regardless of partial or not, in the hall.
also, they should allow a coat rack for all special hats from festival's and stuff.

I actually like the 1.5k version. Plus they are not that different, just 15k has a folded over chest piece.

Well, HoM was made so you could show off your achievements. Spending 75k+ on one set of armor is an achievement. The only thing i dont like about it is the Weapons part, can only put in Destroyer Weapons

been saying for a LOOOOONG! time that dwarven should be HoM armor
especialy as it cost just as much as the other sets, but it can be put in and the other 3 EoTn sets can
i think someone should start a vote or somethin and show A-net the results, hopefuly if enough people say they want it a-net may do somethin about it
specialy since IMO dwaven is the best lookin EoTn armor set (for some classes)

The Dwarven will never been in HoM. Its not a Complete set. its just pieces of armor, it was designed to be like that. As for 1.5k in HoM, no. Though some do look better than their 15k counterparts, they aren't elite.

hmm, i was irritaed about the dwarven armor not being in HoM, but need to completely disagree with the 1k Kurz / Non-Elite's being there.
non-elite max armor is no acheivment in my mind, by the time you've reached a max area in the storyline, you'll be able to purchase max armor with your coin drops, not including other drops... that's no accomplishment, that's just basic that 100% of players can do.
Elite's are somewhat harder and require a bit of dedication and money spent, takes effort when compared to even 1k Kurz, which you can get after finishing the manditory 'Befriending The Kurzicks' and some other really easy quests as it takes only 21-24 amber, the 'somewhat' rare material...
lets say you collected a minimal 10 amber, leaving 11 left over, purchased at the trader for 200g. that's 2.2k.
i won't count in basic mats, but for a set of 1k kurz will run 6.2-7.2k...
congrats on your 1k kurzick set!! that'll get you less-than-half-a-sandal compared to the elite kurzick.
looks of armor are completely opinionated, that will definately not have any sway in whether a set should be in the HoM as it varies from person to person.
i happen to have both 1k and elite kurzick armor for my monk, i like the looks of both, i like the top of the 1k better, but the bottoms of the elite... whatever.
the thing that ticks me off about the HoM is you can only have 5 Elite Sets displayed at one time... that's sucky for me as my average of elite sets spread accross my 6 main toons is 7.8 (47 total elite sets which includes 3 obsidian sets)
so yea, i do have a bone to pick with HoM! grr!
that and the destroer weps... ugh, i'll never have one because everyone else has one. lol.

I totally understand where you all are coming from. I understand that it is an achievement to get 15k armor and that is why it is the only sets shown in the HoM. I also understand about wanting to show of your favorite armor set cause you feel it is the sexiest, best looking you have found for your character...but alas, it isn't 15k. My favorite armor is my 1.5k kurz for my ele. Not only do I think it looks good on Serenity, but the dye job actually goes well with her coloring, which I am finding is hard to do with the 15k sets I have bought so far. I also get people asking me about that armor the most, what it is, what colors I used to dye it ect. Which does feed my ego a bit. lol I keep thinking it would be nice to be able to put up 1 piece of non elite....a piece you are most proud of for whatever reason. Cause, lets face it, who really sees hour HoM's? Very few people but ourselves. I also know that this isn't likely.
As for Dwarven, I agree it is stupid. Not so much that non-full armor sets can't get in...(though it COULD fall under the 1 non-elite armor sets I was talking about earlier. lol) What I think is stupid is the fact that they made them seperate pieces to begin with, knowing that within the rules they made, it would never be able to be added to people's halls. It is because of this that I have not wasted money on Dwarven armor, even when I feel it is the best looking. Since all my elites are just for my hall, why waste the cash and materials? If it wasn't for the hall, I doubt I would own more than 1 set of Elite armor for the simple reason I haven't liked any of them as much as I like my kurz armor. But then again...this is the girl that finished Prophesies and Factions and most of Nightfall in my Sanctum Cay Earth Armor that had a rating of 57 cause I didn't feel anything special over the Prphesie elites and was unsure about the Fctions ones. lol
I also have to agree I grumble about the weapons. Why not make it any green you don't mind customizing, or hell, any gold also for that matter? Cause all the weapons I have atm I will never sell...but then I don't really sell to other characters cause my attention span isn't that long, but still, if I did, I wouldn't. lol I think out of anything they should change, I feel strongest about it being the weapons...for I can always go to a town and strut my stuff in my favorite outfit. Wouldn't want it to get dusty anyway just hanging out in a hall I am hardly in...it really does deserve to be seen. :)

personally I would have liked to have seen end of game stuff from each campaign allowed in hall of monuments like the wayward wand.
At the end of the day its to encourage and reward new achievements.
1k sets might seem a little off ballance to the other achievements that go in there, such as completing every mission in the game.
I cant really see someone completing night fall, tyria and factions and then scrabbling around on the floor for materials and money to pay for a standard droks set of armor.
I admit it may feel like your not initially filling up many of these stands but there might be thousands of hours of play to max the hom.
I thinking its there to show individuality of achievement among the majority of players, and boasting rights for the few that may otherwise not find re playability and challenge in the game.
I see it as a bit of fun to keep me keen for gw2 but I would be just as happy helping 3 new guys between nolani and yaks as I am getting my *donkey* kicked by hm arachnids.
The dwarfen armor not going in seems a little weird but I can accept that more than only destroyer weaps go on the weapon stand.
