hi i bet ur all waiting for the new epic powers, now since i cant copy paste in the ideas i sent into CoV staff they replied with blah blah senior management and they replied :0 but i sent an idea for issue 12 back when we were in issue 10, about new epic characters and one honestly was a crab spider mega suit, not what they are doing now but they took ma idea and wont even let me use it so do you think this is fair, I meen the people that made the game are they allowed to play it? if that is how they are gonna be.
Plus because they wont help meh can anyone help me on defiant server, deaths assisstant lvl 26 mm.

What is it you want?
Recognition for suggesting an idea to Cryptic that NCSoft years later applied in a way that's different from what you suggested but has superficial comparisons to that suggestion as well as the hundreds of similar suggestions made on the game forums?
You got the generic "We did not really read your suggestion because you just might be crazy enough to sue us if we touched an area of the game vaguely related to what you suggested and we don't want to be bothered" reply they send to everyone who sends them suggestions. All is as it should be.
Go play and enjoy the game. Your suggestion was by no means unique so don't worry about it.

If your email, chock-full of suggestions, was as wonderfully formatted and clearly presented as your post here, I simply can not believe they have not added your name to the list of credits by now. Honestly, you deserve top billing, and a super sneak-peek extra early pass into the new ATs.
Why, oh why, have poor grammar, misspelled words, and a total lack of proper punctuation become so acceptable online? Yes, there are very well done, and often hilarious, uses for the common miss-types found in online games. But, in this instance, you were not typing one handed (I hope), while having your butt handed to you by some uber-mob.
Learn to spell. Learn at least some semblance of proper grammar and punctuation. Then, people may begin to take you seriously.

I don't mean to stir the pot but do you think this kid is around probably 8-10 range?
I would never think an adult nor a teenager would have try to say that NCSoft took their ideas.
You're not the only person to suggest that idea to them, so do you think they would need equal payment with you?
and the end of your rant doesn't even make sense, do you want them to reward you with that epic set because you gave them the idea? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the game and therefore make you leave the game faster?

i dont think that is very nice to say, to someone who is not typing in his native language. I have problemes with my engelish aswell. Further you are totally right:P

first off im not a kid and i only misspell words for at the time my keyboard had no batteries, next i cant show you a copy of my suggestion for the e-mail i got sent back, 'does not exist' any more the staff has deleted it for they say that my problem has been solved.
The thing that i do want is to get the epic characters for nothing, so not getting to level 50. I have only been playing for a while but I do know what to do, so if my idea which i will try to get a copy of, untill then I just think that the epic characters should be availible to certain people,
Or A free chance to get in on the tests.

Right here are the couple of posts i sent in to CoV along with the extra staff comment at the bottom. I have lately been searching around the sites and areas within the game about what you should do for a new epic villain. I thought about it and I have come up with two, The Arachnos Mega Suit\ss and the Arachnos Overlord, in this message i shall tell you about the mega suit\ss. The mega suit\ss have been made to mimic the peacebringer and warshade, only with arachnos technology, the usual \qgleaming bolt\q will now be replaced with your very own Arachnos Mace, i have run out of space one secound il post another.
Anyway as i was typing the \qsquid form\q will now be the Mega Jetter suit, mini-guns, spider laser, you get the picture, the Jetter suit is the flying form basically. The white dwarf was the hardest to think of but i came up with the Crab spider Mega Crusher or CSMC for short, it has tremendoes defence like the white dwarf, the other powers shall just be from your mace like spider shot, and tarantula Swipe as a melee attack, anyway in my next post i shall tell you about the Overlord Epic. :)

The Overlord Epic is not like the warshade, i thought about how there is no masterminds in the rouge isles other than the lord himself, so why not a mastermind epic, now i know what you will say F**k off there is no way. Well how about instead of transforming there is \qtactical attacks\q. Your first summon 3 tac-ops, to big, wrong in the mishion kill all snakes near where doc creed is the Tac-ops are not good, at all so how about you use your tactical advantage (attacks) to work past this problem. Welcome back anyway, there is you 2 Tac-ops (level 6) you get the upgrade and a tactical attack, such as \qred line\q, you and your Tac-Ops all stand together and fire one beam (red line) at the target, there are lots of combinations so i thought you could get your minds flowing again, you get 3 Tac-Ops, 2 Huntsmen and a crab spider, there must be at least 8 combinations for the transformed peacebringer in both squid and dwarf form would have 8, please get back to me because i think this is a issue 13 waiting.Thank you very much for contacting the PlayNC Customer Support Team.

It's simple, if you send something in and it gets picked up you get joy of knowing your idea rocks, thats it. If you want rewards, write a comic or book and publish it or only send in stuff to comps and win.
Both are harder than throwing out a concept online and saying thats what I meant later, but publishing can lead to bigger things. By all means keep sending them ideas and add to our hobby and the enjoyment of people.

Mostly because it doesn't matter if we agree with you or not since we have zero influence on what NCSoft does or doesn't do. But I would like to point out to you that you were not the one that thought up the crab spider. NCSoft did. And you just thought it would be cool if you could play as one of the NPC villains they had already created. That is a logic thought. Exactly for that reason I have a SG called 'the spies' that is filled with characters that look like the villains of the game. And I am not the first one that thought of that either. And neither were you when thinking it would be cool to be an NCSoft created crap spider.

To me this really doesn't make sense at all. If you suggest an idea, and it manifests into something different, then your not even having the same idea. The things you suggested weren't that close to what they were doing. And I don't see an overlord Epic....
NCsoft owns the rights to their characters, so they have all the rights to use them, and it doesn't matter if every Joe and Jane Doe suggests it to them at one point or another...
My question is, when did you 'suggest' these ideas?

Well, hate to say it, however, you were copying something that had already been copyrighted and just augmented it slightly (which is copyright infringement). If you were to actually come up with something 100% original and not already (in any shape or fashion) created or in the process of being created....I would hope that you wouldn't just send someone you don't know, that's in business to make money any proprietary information without first getting your own copyright on said creation to protect yourself, and not expect them to take advantage of it.
Rule of thumb...if you haven't documented your ideas previously to sending it out (copyrighted), then your original idea did not exist prior to someone else capitalizing on the concept.

I know i did not actually think of the crab spider but the thought of the epic characters no one knew about issue 10, so I thought that i`ll send in a good post of some of my ideas for an epic, it wasn`t until the end of issue 11 that anyone knew about the epic characters. What i am saying is I know I did not think of the crab spiders, I just hinted about them being an epic, so i dont care if I get epic or not just so people know I hinted at the idea but thank you for saying that it was neither you or me that was the first to think of it. But since no one told me the staff had already done the epic characters I thought I was the first one so no point of sending any posts in...

I totally understand, I once sent a letter to Ford Motor Comapnay about making a fast car with a horse as the emblem, and they took my ideal and made the Ford Mustang. And now they won't even give me a free car!!! lol just kidden
Anyways, your a lvl 26 Mastermind. You got time to get him or her to lvl 50 and when u do, just think of all that infamy that u just made for your new epic.

I bet they thought about adding the Epics when they issued the game out...it was not 100% complete like COH was (well when i got it they had all the LVLS and EATS)...it was a progressive work so that we could have the joy of playing with new stuff always being added.
Would you buy a game that you had to pay monthly for that NEVER changed???? Personally I like the fact that you have to play a wait and see game. It makes you work to see what they will come up with next. I know that the game derives of players input (ie the suggestions section in the ingame support area). If they did not care what we thought would we still care about their game??? Anyways I think I got off track and I have RL to tend to.

That's cool! They look to the player base for information to use in upcoming Issues. I think that is the best way to keep your customers happy is by giving them something they want or close to it.

Ok heres where you lose me a little. When they use an idea or a modify it to something else they do not give the person who submitted it special access to it. They put all new content through 1000s of test programs before they can release it to the Test Server.

Obviously you shared the same opinons as the design team and some players that sent in the same idea as well. Sometimes it takes the voices to be heard before an idea is put into motion.

I think we all knew there were going to be Epics for a long time, and that is called rumors.
I'm 100% sure that you are not the only person in the world to come up with those ideas since they were made from characters that were already in the game.
Once again, they would never just let a lower level gain access to the epics because it defeats the purpose of the game and you would miss most of the higher levels if you are only level 26.
Masterminds are extremely easy to level so I know you could get to 50 in time for i12.
