We have had threads about "What would you create for game?", "What would you like to see upcoming?" but this thread is specifically about if you had an interview with Statesman or could ask him a question "What question would you ask him?". The question maybe about the game, the company, the creator, comics, or anything that you may be interesting to ask Jack "Statesman" Emmert. Please don't answer your question or answer a question ask by another member. Just pose a question or two and have at it. Now if you would like to compliment someone's question that would be fine. So what would ask him?
For quite sometime CoH was just a dream, storyboards, and concepts. It took a long time to go from rumor to full fledge playability. 1) Where did you gain the inspiration to create this game? 2) Did you draw from comics of the present time or those of the past? 3)Will you draw from future comics to add new content to our beloved game?
There is my question (or 3) but you get the idea. I would say layout no more than 3 question so as you may not dry up the question pool. Have fun and looking foward to the post.

I would ask Statesman if he would consider introducing some new hero types in the future or perhaps adding more powers to choose from.

i would ask him how addicted to playing the game he is, and ask him if he has the problem w/ alt-aholism that most CoH players have

Hmmm...What would I ask Statesman? That's definitely an intriguing question, my friend. If I had the chance to ask the man himself a single question, I'd have to say, "How do you feel knowing that your creation has brought such happiness to so many gamers, and how do you think you would've reacted to the game if you weren't associated with its creation?" Nothing special.

Well, funnily enough, I talked a bit with a dev, though it wasn't Statesman or one of the public representatives like Cuppajo, and now I wished I asked him/her some of these lofty questions. I was asking him/her about stupid stuff like game security. The reason for that was because he/she revealed that there is usually a dev standing under atlas, monitoring lines of broadcast and stuff, as well as documentation of that nature. Gave me the jeeblies. Big Brother IS watching.

I actually played Warhammer 40k with Rick D., the guy who used to write the CoH comics. It was interesting what sort of tidbits he hinted at...

well I Actually may get to ask States my question as he'll be at Origins in July (I'm taking off work to go... now I'm officially a nerd) So MAYBE if you're nice to me and I remeber I might be able to ask him some of your questions as well... who knows if I'll get to talk to him or not.
I want to know pretty much all of the thigns you all want to know but also.
When he was studying and learning all these languages, with everything he's learned what's the one thing that's stuck with him the most. And if he ever saw himself then where he is now (kind of a revers where do you see yourself in 5 years) - especially with the "fame" that he has w/in the game... you mention Statesman... even to a noob and they know who he is... he's kinda like a cult icon like Rocky Horror or Brue Campbell.
