Okay, so, according to the should-always-be-correcting-in-informing-the-Guild-Wars-masses on guildwars.com...

But alas, le party decided to end(all on its red-headed own) at MIDNIGHT, NOT NOON.
Why does this concern you, the "Guild wars masses"? Because, people wanted to sell their fortune in party items to many many people who were grinding to r2 in Party Animal. Sellers would be rich, grinders would be happy at another max title, the world would continue to revolve. BUT. With the abrupt end of the farewell party a whole 12 hours(4 events), the world has stopped in an attempted remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still"(really lovely movie).
I know, I should be, at the very least, happy that ANet threw such a farewell event, but, my rage lays with false advertisement, incorrect information, etc. I was looking forward to another 4-5 hours of raptor farming for drops and saurian bones to get that 1k I had left, but, my hopes, and dreams have been utterly obliterated.

You mean they stopped earlier to prevent.. overfarm etc?

I have no idea the reason. All I do know, is many many people are angry at this whole thing, where the event ended 12 hours early then intended.

I think ANET stopped the event accidently and now they are thinking what to do.
It also started 12 hours early, so I guess that's the same problem.
I expect ANET will apologize and do it again next weekend or something like that.
I wasnt able to play a lot this weekend so I was really looking forward to farm this monday...

Well I can see your frustration with that. Guess we will see if A-net will do anything about it.
I bought all my points on Friday
Farmed and used them on Saturday and sold the extra 2-3 stacks on Sunday
Overall I spent about 800K to get the title.
Kind of Ironic that the "life of the Party" title involves grinding and spending hours playing a video game LOL
The true test of any technology is its ability to obtain porn.

OH by the way, i know its off-topic, i heard some vague rumors Keanu Reeves got himself for a role in a remake of that movie if im correct, The Day The Earth Stood Still:

For your movie casting needs IMDB is king :P
Gaile was suppose to make another appearance today so I am sure it was just a mistake. Nice that they ran the event longer than normal though ^^
Personally I wish they would run more week long events. But they prolly don't want to give to much time for title grinders or some junk like that.
I did manage to farm 30k during this event though so guess I better not complain too much LOL
