Codebreakers mission troubles

The short and sweet of it is, I can't figure out how to get to the mission!

The mission is called Force Tech from Codebreakers...or something very similar. It's in Port Oakes. The problem is when I go to where the map indicator is, it seems to be about 200 yds below the surface of the road in Marconeville (sp?).

I spent about 10 mintues this morning flying around the area looking for anyway to get blow the surface but no dice. Anyone know how to get there?

Okies, you know the big tall building with the square pond plaza in front? Where you need to go if you want to start a Villain Group, Just North East of the Hospital. Your "Door" is inside that same building. Go through the door that would take you to the VG arbiter, then you arrive at lounge and one of the doors there will be the one you need.

RE: Codebreakers mission troubles

Thanks lani, I'll look for that.

So, am I missing something? I read the mission text and there seemed to be nothing there that indicated where I need to go. Perhaps this is one of those that builds on info you may have learned in the passed, which would account for my missing it. I kinda got to where I am by helping others with their missions and as a result out leveled a few of my contacts.

Which brings me to one of my gripes with the game. Why do we even out level contacts? Shouldn't we be allowed to go back and do the missions anyway? Sometimes it's fun to go back to low level areas and completely crush everything because you're 20 levels higher than they are.

And therefore, especially for you, the devs added Ouroboros to the game. Once you had your first taste of time travelling, and reached level 25, you get the ouroboros portal (as a temp power). By using the Ouroboros you can reply every arc and mission of the game. You can even go back to the Zig and redo your break out mission.

Now your next question will be of course how to accomplish the daunting task of time traveling. The easiest answer will be to travel through somebody else's Ouroboros portal. But there are several other missions too that give you a taste of time traveling. Except I don't really know which ones they are.

What you mostly missed is questions about it in Broadcast channel :-)
There's no rhyme or reason to it afaik. Maybe a dev thought it funny, or maybe necessary to place that mission door there. I've had similar things happen with other missions on Cap au Diablo where you'd have to enter the building where the Science Arbiter is and later on an arc brought me back to Mercy to another such lobby. Occasionally a Paper Mish will pick such a door at random as well. It can get funkier, I had a mission on ST-Martial where I kept going in and exiting through different doors. Having to go through Hospital 4 times isn't fun, but when the door you need to go to keeps being in a different segment of town...

For some reason, when it's a shop inside a building's lobby, your map target / range thingy points you to the correct intermediary door, but with the mission-doors it doesn't. Possibly cause it's a door and not an NPC. Stil, a good Rule of Thumb is, a location a mile below ground means you need to start looking for a door somewhere above.

Phe already mentioned Ouroboros, let me add that one such arc is available on Cap au Diablo through one of the two Arachnos Agents on Aeon Square (I think it's called).

Well, at least it's not just me then, that's good to know.

So, that's what Oroboros is all about huh? I wondered. Guess I'm going to have to get my hero back up there again and try it out.
