Didn't mind it so much until last week when I was downloading a 7GB Client file over the FilePlanet Download Manager for a game and was using IE for browsing for some reason when I hit one.
I killed IE to get rid of it, only to discover that my FP download had died at 90% (of 7 GB) and was not going to continue where it left of. That was a whole hour-and-a-half of downloading wasted :-(
Arg. I already have the song stuck in my head just at the mention of Rick Astley. I've never suffered an internet Rick'Roll myself, but I lived through the original version back in the 80's. :-P
Oh, and yeah, there's always news, but news shows always feel the need to inject "silly" stories to try to lighten the mood, since most news is depressing.

yeh utube is acting weird today, i couldn't see any queens of the stoneage videos T_T.
ah well, in this vid there's only some nonsense about it.
there's this guy sitting at his computer on what seems to be his office, and telling something in the lines of this: someone offered me cake today, but they lied >.> It's pretty common that if you think you're clicking a harmless link, you end up getting 'RickRolled'. *shows a rickroll webpage* It's also pretty annoying to get away, as the screen will sometimes move and give you evil pop up messages that won't go away.
it's just a not so informative broadcast.
the point is: an internet practical joke, made the news.
I think its about right now, not that i could care less.
ALSO, this totally reminds me of a Quote Tower, its a fun game, you can also add images like swimming pools or helicopter pads to create our very own Quote Tower of Awesomeness.
