| Lord of the Rings.... All nighter |

Yep you heard it.. on the 3rd of May 2008, at 23:30, on one of the most state of the art not to mention gigantic cinema displays in the world... Every LOTR film, back to back... That's 12 hours of pure cinematic glory displayed at the IMAX cinema London, and it's going to be immense. So far me and 17 of my friends are going so it should be pretty fun. And to top it all off.. there's free tea and coffee all night! Well to be honest we're gonna need it, we'll be in there from 11:30pm till 11:30am after all! So if anyone lives in London or is able to travel (being a fan lord of the rings is also useful) why not bring yourself along! Here are the details from the website:

Me and a friend were just laughing 24/7 during the third movie.
It's just 2 much imo.

Sick man, Sick, i wish you the best of luck, i'l have some blokes from the Mental Ward await you outside afterwards, something tells me you need a long relaxing time somewhere far far away...

Don't worry the clinic has already arranged for them to be there! I managed to persaude them to let me out for 12 hours just for this, they'll want me back in straight after though *rocks back and forth in corner of room giggling*

The only good thing bout LOTR is the story and the soundtrack. The movie aint that good and i hate how frodo looks so horny all the time.

to be honest, i have only seen the first and half the second film. i'm not that big a fan, but i like to watch films, and my bro is a massive lotr fan.... so i'm just there for kicks really then to get too into it :P

People can understand sarcasm, there's no need to nullify your statement with 'not', it's just making a double-negative. I happen to own the EE boxed set (non pc...?) and it was the best £50 I've ever spent. :)

good luck to you sir! here are 3 suggestions i would've done in the past to make the evening even better that isn't too illegal...
a suggestion: bring "special tea" or at least the leaves anyway :P
b suggestion: Red-Bull + Jagermeister.
c suggestion: bring special type of fungus, if you think it's a big graphical display normally, try the magic fungus.

i know! those suggestions will make it happen and it'd be incredible!
i remember the first time doing mushrooms and then going to watch end of days with arnold vs. satan.
the fruitopia commercial before the movie blew my mind and the movie was pretty sweet too... :P lol, although not the highlight of the night... haha.
that was back in like 2000 or 2001, all i know is watched a lot of movies between 1998 and 2002 high as a kite and don't remember them at first, i'll rent them now, not knowing i've watched it already at the theature, then some upper or lower (not sure) brain function kicks in and says "hey, dumbass, you watched this like 10 years ago, you were just too stoned and focused on eating sourpatch kids, skittles, salt and vinegar chips and drinking a slurpee to remember!" and then i remember the movie and feel like i wasted money... :P
i'm retired from doing that sort of thing now (gets you into trouble eventually) but if you live in a country where it's legal, or if you're cool with it, then rock on! LOL.
i'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with your camel pack as it is and won't need anything else ;)
