Hello, i have allways been eager to go on an adventure with a ranger but till now i couldnt do it. Now i have a few questions so i wont regret something when im almost done with the adventure:
1)What sex is better Male or Female?
2)What camapain should i make him/her in?
3)What hairstyle and coulour do you like most(so that i can steal it)?
4)What is a good name?

1)Dunno haven't really seen female
2)Personal choice, depends, I prefer tyria, both started there. Didnt like nightfall with ranger no idea why.
3)I chose brown and the bluey one but this aint my kinda thing
4)Well my advise would be Cruisey The Ranger (main) or Cruisey of Ascalon but by coincidence they are already taken.
Rangers FTW! and good luck whatever you choose.

Depends on your choice, Males mostly got long hair, depends wether or not you like that.

[b]Prophecies is my choice, they got good faces and hairstyles, Factions is ofcourse for fast leveling, Nightfall has in my opinion worst faces to choose from. (though for male the eyepatch+hair over face style is always funny.
3)What hairstyle and coulour do you like most(so that i can steal it)?
The one with the Purple flowers in Prophecies, no matter what color, or the blue beads (proph) Dark/brown.
4)What is a good name?

first off! LOL @ #1 Timi, but i think you got mixed up in how they shoot, female rangers stance fire with the bow parallel to the ground (horizontal or @ 180*), whereas, the males stance is perpendicular (vertical or @ 90*)
the females chest will give a slight jiggle upon releasing the arrow, which to some may be tantilizing and sexy (hey, might aswell get all the details ;) )
so... #1. i'd play a female ranger, slightly taller than average, but not like amazon height. :P 2/3's or 3/4's on the height.
#2. prophecies, as you're closer to accessing elite druid armor, though it's cookie-cutter, mix the gloves and boots with other sets to avoid this and remain with the hot mid-drift and tush. :P
#3. straight hair is definately the best. (see my profile's various rangers hair styles) straight, long hair will have a sexier action when you run as it whisps back and forth in the breeze ;) Edit: it's a proven fact that Red-Heads are the most crazy-fun, so her hair color must be red or at least auburn to go along with the playful nature of the ranger *grin*
#4. a hot chick you know or would like to know better, what better way to get into her good books by designing an epic, monster slaying character after her, mortalizing her name forever in GuildWars. if she's not impressed, delete the character and move on to your 'back up' gal or pet cat.
that is my advice for starting out on a ranger. ;)

Yay this is my territory!
1)What sex is better Male or Female? - None of them is "better", but I made a female range since I prefer to look at a girl all day than a man. And the armor looks a lot cooler if you ask me (compare 15k Druids, man and female, and you'll see why).
2)What camapain should i make him/her in? - My ranger is from prophecies and to me it's the best campaign. But if you get to lvl 20 fast and don't look like a complete retard, I suggest you start in Factions.
3)What hairstyle and coulour do you like most(so that i can steal it)? - Well you can see it in my signature. Also, I like rangers as tiny as possible, but that's just my opinion cus I'm not that big in rl either.
4)What is a good name? - Kept mine pretty simple.. Ranging Blazings. As long as it has your unique nickname and something that has to do with a ranger, I think you can't fail on that.

EDIT: After reading Timi's post: I thought it depended on the bow how a ranger holds his/her bow? I use Asuran Recurve Bow and Drago's Flatbow and she holds them both horizontal. but with a shortbow this is vertical I think.
And @ED: Do you think that "jiggle" would happen in real life? xD Pretty odd that it takes a while for them to get back into form, even after the shot has been fired..

Typically I go tallest to have the 'height advantage'. Dark skin, since rangers are usually outdoorsy and get rather tan. Then lighter, sun-bleached, or older/grayer, hair.
4)What is a good name?
First Name: combine the first three letters of your last name + the first two letters of your first name.
Last Name: combine the first two letters of your mother's maiden name + the first three letters of your City of Birth. My male Prophecies ranger's name is Harch Brdal. Female Nightfall is Sasla The Huntress, and was just random cuz I was eating tortilla chips and hot sauce, and typo'd the First Name. Huntress because I was using the /preorder spear.

anyway back on topic: i just made a male ranger in cantha with brown hair and tallest he can be i think it looks pretty good but it is up to you what you want to make your character look like
