OK in all honesty I havent dug THAT much into the old forums. BUT I was wondering if there is a way to set a bind to only effect one henchman.
What I was looking for was a way to make the Bruiser (from the thug set) not just sit back and chuck rocks at hero's faces. (No matter how amusing it may be).
I was thinking it was something along the lines of:
/bind numpad0 petcom_bruiser **edit--SO i guess i cant get my bind to show up...sorry**
(if i was a guessin man.) I havent made MM binds in FOREVER! If someone could correct me and show me the proper example for how to bind a single pet that would help extremly. Thanks!

Well, if you're looking for a quick and easy way to put your Brute to work....just send him into the heat of things.
I've never had an issue getting my Brute into the middle of the fight. If need be, there is a command that is a "send to....". He will go to a spot where you designate and fight from there.
I'm not one for Henchmen binds, and I've also never had an issue getting mine to do what I want them to do either with the commands that are available.
Just remember, there are simple and advanced controls for you to use. You can use them to control individual or all of your henchmen.

I learned all I know about MM binds from looking at the in-game help under mastermind and slash commands. I do believe it is possible to give commands based on the name of your pet, as well as based on the ability that pet has.
Let me see if I can remember...
/bind X petcom_name name what-you-want-him-to-do
all my binds are set to /petcom_all right now, which tells all your pets to do whatever you bind it to do. the slash command section of the MM help file is really chock full of useful tips.
Now, what I really want to do it set up a bind/macro with my Ergodex to summon, equip, and upgrade all my bots with one keypress. Anyone know of a way to target a specific pet with a bind? I know you can cycle friendly targets, but that will target my teammates too, and mess up the macro.
I hate hate hate hate hate having to summon, summon, summon, equip, equip, equip, equip, equip, equip, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade at the start of every gosh darn mission! MM are the most fun AT imo, but I hate the 5 minutes of screwing around to get them going every 15 minutes.
Is there a way to target by name? I.E. "/target_name bob" would target bob.

Thats what I'm asking! I knew about the advanced mode. But I really just didn't want to keep having to click in the little pet window. So is there a way to make a bind/macro that with just target a henchman. Since bruiser is the only one of his class. Is there a way to target the final henchman's class alone? Ill do some experimenting on my dusty Robot/FF and I'll get back to yall.

You were right, I just got off my Robot/FF and I was able to sent my Assault Bot to where ever I wanted him.I used:
/bind numpad0 petcom_name AB500-Z1 goto
(AB500-Z1 being my bot's name) I'm still not sure how to stack it to make him go agressive whenever I click it but I could just always keep him on agressive.
As far as equiping a MM with one Button....thats a little but past my knowhow :) But I do remember a guide way back when that showed how you could toggle from one pet to another...I'll try and find it.

your bound pet command can have 2 arguments, so, you can set up both aspects of his behavior at once.
/bind X petcom_name petname follow aggressive
This would set him to follow you and be aggressive. Or use goto and passive, or whatever combo you want. just add it as a second argument past "goto"
If i recall, I have 3 set up to command all my pets at once:
defensive & attack
passive & follow
defensive & goto
These 3 work best for me, in nearly any situation. I hate having my pet in aggressive mode all the time, as they tend to pull in aggro when I wasnt ready for the battle! :) I like to tell my pets what to attack, rather than have them go all willy-nilly on any mob they see.
If you do find that thread, I would love to see it. I know there must be a way to speed up the whole summon/upgrade/equip thing :)

Thanks for the guide link! That solved a ton of problems!
For anyone wondering:
pet_select_name
is the command to (obviously) select a pet by name! I love the guides! This site is the best!!!
Thanks everyone!
