My Ex Girlfriend is deleting my characters, what to do?

She's logging in this very moment, and i keep disconnecting her by logging in myself. I cant change my password because i dont know my plaync master account password. Ive send an email to support but i don't think they will respond untill tommorow.. Any tips on what i can do untill i get a response from Anet?

Go here.

It's where Support will direct you when you mail them.
It's where you can get your PlayNC master account reset provided:

- You know your Master account's username.
- You remember what you set up as a secret question
- You still have access to the e-mail account you set it up with.

e-mail with Password reset instructions is sent out straight away when you submit.

On a side note, why the blazes did you give her access to your PlayNC account? Without that, you could simply change your GW account's password in-game and she'd be locked out. That goes vice versa as well, unless you now need to reset your password through PlayNC.

I didnt give her access to my plaync master account, just my guild wars game account. The problem with resetting is i dont know what the answer to my secret question is... And i cant change my password ingame, because that redirects me to the plaync webpage... Man this is annoying lol

Woah that does suck..
Maybe call her mother while keeping her DCing and say you think she is chatting with a pedofile, and that she has to pull her daughter away from the computer this very instant.
That should give you enough time.
Or send a friend over to do the same thing while you're on the phone wich each other =P Than he know when he can let her go.

Yeah, just noticed that the in-game feature's been replaced by a PlayNC.com web-page.

So, you can't remember the answer to your secret question? I do hope it's not one you're using for multiple accounts...
Might want to consider this with future accounts on whatever.

Ehm. Just thought of something, how are you going to convince PlayNC the account is yours, and not your ex-GF's? I mean, if she has access to your account, might just as easily be hers from NCSoft's point of view.

The big question is....
Do you still have your Guild Wars License key?
That seems to be the one thing that might help you prove who you are, and not your ex, to them.

While going through my spam box i noticed i got this email:

And everytime i answer my secret question wrong, i get this email in my mailbox:

Im Presuming you hit Reset Password in the Login box so neither you nor her can access it anymore, after that you can at ease wait for PlayNC to resolve it.

Hope you learned your lesson for the rest of your life, never give out access to things that hold value to you, anything can go wrong, and you'll be left with picking up the pieces.

Didn't get a reset password button once. The first email is from last thursday so it probably doesnt have anything to do with this situation. Oh well, im not getting dced anymore. Guess she called it a day. Thanks for fast help

I'l be paranoid and tell you that is Exactly what most people would do, pretend to call it a day, and after a while when you think ''phew, the storm has passed'' thrash your place like a hurricane, booyah Patience pays off.

So i wouldn't be comfortable at all there now, as it has just become a game of tick-tock time-bomb.

I have to agree with Lani here.

Watch the language!

You could also try to mail them to reset your password -both PlayNC and account- That worked for me once when I had the feeling I had a hacker.

The word sukkel (which means something like loser/lamer) doesnt even nearly describe what i am. I didnt get the error when another party logs in. I just got normal DC errors.... Sorry for wasting your time.

Why did she have access to your account? If she really wanted to play it, she'd want to play it with you, and so would need her own account which you would've bought for her if she didn't buy it herself. There's no reason for you to share your account with her.

Actually, I can think of a reason: You made her farm for you while you went afk and did other stuff. Lame.
^ That's the only valid reason I can think of as to why she would have your account info.

Reset the drat password using the option, because of the PlayNC stuff you most likely cannot access the account yourself either, but it would be save from harm.

Anet from there on out will help you asking the serials, atleast then you can do it more relaxed.

What you should do is send all of your account info to PlayNC support (not your password ofc) like account name, your real name, adress etc along with your birthday and a scan of the GW serial numbers and receipts. This way they will probably tell you what your password was. In my case, I forgot the user name and got it this way.
