the man looked in the mirror and saw himself, he took the saw and cut the table in half, then put it back together to make a whole.
thats an awsome riddle, i remember my old english teacher gave us that. took us ages to get it :D

When the man asked for a glass of water, the bartender could tell that he had hiccups. He pulls out a gun, not intending to harm the man but to surprise him enough so that the man's hiccups are gone. The man thanks the bartender for making his hiccups go away. :)
