So I know you can only have one buff to exceed +25 armor.
but if 1 single buff exceeds this (like physical resistance) then it's ok.
But my question is, you know how Physical resistance give you +40 vs physical and -24 against elemental?
can i get another buff to compensate for my -24 armor
I know it wont add on to my over all totals, just to replace the armor i lost

Think its possible yeah, atleast i remember some Earth Ele's using all sorts of spells to achieve the result of Titanium Armor.

i do believe the stacking of ele earth armor buffs has been 'nerfed'.
Test it i say, easiest way to do it... grab an ele friend, scrimmage them, use Physical Resistance, see what Flare hits you for, then use an armor buff + physical resistance and see if the damage is lowered... that simple.
just like Aegis (50% block) and Guardian (@50%) doesn't mean you'll block all 100% of attacks, it's more like 75% the way that stacks... so i've noticed anyway.

yup, exactly^^
if you use aegis and get 50% blocked, thats 50% of what you currenrtly have, guardian wont give you another 50%, it will give you half of what you have left, which would make it another 25%, totalling 75%. and so on and so forth, meaning you can never have 100% blocked.

Yes.. BUT BUT BUT. My experience is that if a skill says 50% block it's actualy 75% and when it says 75% it blocks 90% of the time ;) Think about that haha
