Post your favourite guitar

Title says it, post a picture of the guitar you own/would like to own. I'm buying a new bass guitar soon and my friend is buying a new guitar, so all suggestions (even if they are insanely pricy, we can still dream about owning one ^^) are welcome. Just post the pictures of your favourite guitars!

I'll start off with 2 guitars (1 bass, one normal) I really love. First is the Gibson G-3 Grabber <3

Of course, if you want a real sweet and proper guitar, check out this new Gibson Les Paul one... o_O

I got 2 favorites (and got both :D )

1: my Ibanez RG 7321; customized with EMG707's, silver wiring and custom (self done) paintwork

My other one (havent got a self-made picture im afraid)
Schecter C-7 hellraiser (EMG707's) diamond series

Got some more 'favorites' but these 2 are the ones i use most atm :)

Red is an awesome color indeed; especially when you have a dark-red/bordeaux red; but there is also one major problem with red: ever stood on stage with red lights? Red turns to pink then O.o

be careful, that is a nice collection, however my dad has been playing for 30+ years and last time i counted there were 9 on the rack, plus my 3 basses lol i dont know if we actually need them all. i'd list them...but its kinda hard, theyre all frankenstein guitars where my dad has combined different necks and bodies and pickups.

Every guitarist needs a Bass Player!!!

It's a 1991 G&L SB2, it's certificate of authenticity was signed by Leo Fender's wife, it's played through an Eden-Nemesis 210 Combo.

the greatest/favorite guitar i've ever played (even though i suck) was a real 1963 Fender Strat that was found in North Battleford Saskatchewan with the original case and bought from the original owner... it was originally purchased in Flin Flon manitoba back in 1963.

my dad bought the guitar for $8,000CDN, readjusted the neck, added a new center fender custom shop NOS pickup, bagged the original pickup, put new strings on it, checked all the wiring on it then sold it to a vintage guitar store in Arizona for $15,000 USD... that guitar is now owned by Tom Petty's guitar player and is now worth over $20,000 USD.

i played Deep Purple's "smoke on the water" with it through a Dr. Z amp. lol and it kicked a lot of ass even though i suck.

he's currently got a 77 Les Paul Deluxe with mini-humbuckers, all original.

a fender custom shop strat and tele.

and some nice vintage Vox and Fender tube amps along with a Dr. Z Maz18 Amp. *grin*

Greg Fessler at Fender Custom Shop has just taken his order on a 56 Re-issue to be Master Built and be made out of swamp ash and come in at a projected weight of 6.6 pounds. it will be 2-tone burst and cost around $5,000.xx, it will be arriving through L&M music store in vancouver (the only true FCS Masterbuilt Dealership in western canada) where it will be shipped to L&M in Saskatoon later on this year. Weee! i can't wait to hear what it sounds like / maybe do it no justice by playing it. lol.

ps. my dad's a studio musician and i wish i had his talents (so i play Bass and run sound mixes), but it's one of the things i really admire about him, so i thought i'd post it... that and all those pieces will be in my inheritance, to which i will keep them and never, ever, ever sell them, but i'll know exactly what they're all worth. *grin*

Edit: found a pic of the 77 Les Paul. =) it's original pickguard is in storage, but it's a player... it's case pictured isn't the original case either, but still a v. nice case. =)

so yea, anyone thinking i might be full of crap ;) is wrong. lol, pics of the 63 strat and it's 'rebuild' are available if you want to have wet dreams.

I don't have any pictures readily available, but i can paint a mental picture:

one is a squier stratocaster with DiMarzo pickups, im not sure what kind, got em from my guitar teacher for $40, rosewood neck and crome tremolo system, not a good one, the crappy out of tune kind.

the other, my love, is a 1985 tobacco sunburst Fender Stratocaster with a locking nut Kahler tremolo system, Bill Lawrence L-500 (black) pickup and no neck or middle. It has a maple neck and soon to be gold plated tuner pegs. It is also about to be painted to look ridiculously good looking.

P.S. Im also looking to procure a Bright Yellow, Maple Neck, Rg-550. (Ibanez). Or any cool looking ESP guitar. If you got one you wanna sell, hit me up.

It's an Epiphone though...

Either way, I have two favourites. My Takamine acoustic, and my Schecter C-1 Exotic Star.

Haven't got a photo of me using the C-1 yet - and I've actually got in for a servicing (fretboard was absolutely filthy from bulk use), so here's a picture from google.
