Just curious if anyone does Hami raids anymore?
A while back with my first 50 I was a regular attendee for a while.
Since the changes on the Hami raids I have yet to participate or even see "Broadcasts" about times when they will take place.
Is this all just a thing of the past?

A few months ago I was on 2 successive attempts to bring down Hami.
Team leaders seemed to know what they were doing and we got Hami up quickly with no sweat at all.
But then, the placement of teams was a long tedious chore that caused more than a few to drop out so that teams had to be reorganized more than once.
When the attack came proper however, it was halfway coordinated; colors were assigned to identify teams but no one said wich team had wich color! targets and actions were not clearly identified so that some just charged in and crashed against the opposition.
After 3 hours of prep, the first attempt didn't even close on Hami. We were all wiped out in less than a minute and most called it a night.
The next day, everything was redone and we managed to reach Hami, bringing it almost down... almost... But then, all his ''assistants '' revived and we where summarily wiped out in seconds.
Not an easy one for sure... and the number, effort and most of all the time required just to set things up with so low a chance to succeed for not so great a reward is not appealing to many.
Certainly the biggest, hardest challenge in this whole game.

I havent hami raided in years.
It's a shame really that the once and almighty hamidon, the very villians that used to take a bare minimum of 50 heroes, and usually over a hundred showed up to fight. . .is now reduced to old schoolers weaving their tales of "I remember when. . ."
It used to a good reward to get. A chance to get your powers supersized with hami-o's. Now though some people still find uses for them in their powersets, they arnt the once shiney gem that heroes or villians covet. Not when you you can put something in that gives a chance to hold your target, gives you a layer of stealth, or a chance to give psionic damage with a taunt.
The devs need to seriously crank up the hami-o, to where heroes and villains will want to gather in freaking massive numbers, and fight the giant blob the size of cleveland again. They need to make the reward worth the risk again.

What server do you play on Veloce? Cause my server of liberty had something exactly like that. the first time didnt work and they had to finish it the next day. Then they did a second time soon after.

I play on all servers LOL but this particular set of events happened on my main one Guardian.
I suppose it is an often enough occurence since this challenge is supposed to be the ultimate challenge of the game. But I agree that it would need much more incentive to warrant all the time, thought, effort and numbers it requires, like no other in CoX yet.
I still hope to be able to complete it one day...just for the fun of it.
