I think you can also make a SS yourself and submit them to a certain topic. Can't find it at the moment, maybe someone else knows what I mean?

Almost all armor screenshots on GA have been taken by other people than the one whos wearing it. for better angles etc.

The your own armor is better quality than armor from others.
I heard something about textmod changing that, do you use that?

I noticed that your own view on your own armor is more detailed than your view on other people's armor (hope y'all can follow that lol)
I don't see how texmod can change that. so I'd say no.

Armor of others in towns and outposts are reduced in quality except for your own.
Armor in explorable areas (also the ones of your temmates) are full quality depending on your resolution and settings.
When i made armor pics for this site they were taken with 1680x1050 resolution; 4x aliasing, highest texture and model settings (which i actually run all the time). result:
I think that answers your question regarding making armor pics of others ;)

I don't texmod it. Like Maya did, I take them outside and have them model. The only thing I don't have is the Anti-Aliasing. :)
