Here are a few question I've got for anyone who can answer them...
1. Is it possible for villains to get a Witch Hat?
2. Which attack is better: Night Fall or Soul Tentacles?
3. What is the best way to slot Dark Servant? Note that I want him permanent, so I'll need 2-3 recharge reduction enhancements.
4. Can you change the color of the Talsorian Katana?

1.No witches hat that i know of
2 & 3 Neither used those attacks, or DS so i can't say.
4. yes you can, just go to the Tailor.

2.I have no experience with the dark blast set past level 4 so ild guess by soul tentacles u mean tenebrous tentacles, from looking at Mids Tentacles has a wider arc, less damage, immoblize, longer duriation, shorter range and less damage while they both have the same tohit debuff and recharge
3. I beleive dark servant leaves when u leave a zone, dies when u die, or something along that order, ild suggest 2 acc, 1 tohit debuff, 2 hold duriation and 1 heal, although i have no experience with this pet
4. As lilith said i do beleive u can by visiting the tailor

Ok, I'm assuming you mean Soul Tentacles from the GW epic set and Night Fall from the same set? Well, for a MM, I'd go with Soul Tentacles. Night Fall is good and all but it's just a cone damage. As a MM, you don't deal great damage so this will really draw aggro to you if used improperly. Soul Tentacles at least give you a nice little immobilize (more controlling for for all you /Dark MMs)
And EU has the correct info for Dark Servant. He lasts as long as you do or until someone kills him. If I had one, I'd go with 2 Accuracy, 1 Hold, 1 Immobilize, 2 Heal or something along those lines. This turns him into a nice little healer/debuff/controller pet. And what's better than that?
Now I know nothing of the katana. Admititly, all the ones I've seen were green. But I like em green, so thats fine by me :D
However, I just learned that DB people can't get that katana. Man, that pretty much throws an entire costume concept of mine out the window...Maybe the CoH gods will grant us a gift in i12. *Prays for Dual Glowie Katanas of Doom*

Powerlevel Man, lvl 50 Fire/Kin
Rider of the Flames, lvl 26 Fire/Fire Blaster

That stinks about the witch hat. I was hoping to make a costume with one...Actually it doesn't make much sense that heroes get a witch hat since witches are usually considered evil.
And Soul Tentacles seems like a good choice. Plus Soul Tentacles + Tar Patch + Soul Storm = Somebody who isn't going anywhere for a little while...
Just so you all know, other than Dragon Fang I'm also known as King of Robotics. Or Fluffy.

If I'm not mistaken the Dark Servant is on a timer and has to be resummoned periodically. I believe the recharge time is 240 seconds. If you take hasten you can resummon him before the duration runs out.
As for slotting: Accuracy, Heal, Hold, Immoblize are the best to use. If you are going to be facing higher level mobs then use 2 Accuracy Enhancements.
The slotting depends on how you want to use him. If you want him to help with healing then slot it for 2 Accuracy, 3 Heal, and 1 Immobilize. If you want him to immobilize mobs then slot for 2 Accuracy, 3 Imobilize and 1 Heal.
He does have a Single Target Hold which he uses often. If your not worried about him healing then replace the single Heal for a Hold.
Now if you get off into the IOs for slotting then your talking whole other ball game.

with dark servant i always say to slot with 2 acc, 2 TH debuff, 1 heal, 1 hold. his aoe toggle lowers enemy accuracy, and when slotted and mixed with DM's -acc powers, you have some pretty good defense so to speak

The Dark Servant does vanish after a few minutes, but theres no need for any recharge enhancements since the power is back up and ready to summon again about 10 seconds later.

Yeah, but still...
I put just one recharge enhancement on him and noticed he came back WAY faster. Still, one is probably enough. And thanks everyone else for the advice. It'll help me when I get Dark Servant more enhancement slots.
